Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival in Kathmandu. Airport pickup and drop to hotel. Trek briefing in the evening, and welcome dinner. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla Flight and Trek to Phakding

Max Altitude: 2,840m/9,317ft

Duration: 35 min flight and 3-4 hours trek

The day starts with a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Once you land in Lukla Airport, after a short break of rest, the trek to Phakding will start until you reach Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.

Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Max Altitude: 3,440m/11,286ft

Duration: 5-6 hrs

After having a healthy breakfast, a trek to Namche Bazaar. Trekking through Monjo along with Dudh Koshi River and crossing the Hillary Bridge, the highest suspension bridge until you reach Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.

Day 04: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar

Day 05: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

Day nine of the Everest Base Camp Trek route takes you to Gorak Shep and Everest Base Camp. But, there is no international or direct flight to Lukla. Therefore, if you are visiting Everest Base Camp, first of all, you have to take an international flight to Kathmandu and then a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla.
