Terms And Conditions

This section contains important terms and conditions that you agree with Access Nepal Tours and Trekking once you choose to book with us.

Booking Policy:

• When you book any tour or trek in Nepal, you must pay 10% of the total amount of the trip.
•  While booking for Mountain Climbing (mountain expeditions), you must pay 30% of the total cost to confirm your booking.
•  And, for the trips out of Nepal, such as Bhutan and Tibet, you must pay 40% of the total cost to confirm your bookings.
•  Booking deposit can be made via wire transfer or you can pay via credit/debit (visa or master card).
•  The remaining amount is payable upon your arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal at least one day prior to the trip. Final trip documentation will be released only upon full trip payment.
•  If you wish to make the payment via Credit Card or debit card, 4% sur-charge will be levied to the payable amount by the bank processing the charges. This is applicable to all payments related to deposits, final payments, trip extension costs. This charge is implemented by the Himalayan Bank Limited, a Credit card/debit card payment service provider in Nepal. That extra 4% surcharge is partly used to provide costumer protection in accordance with the terms and conditions related to the Credit Card in question.

Cancellation Policy:

• No refund will be made on the booking amount if you cancel the trip. However, you can postpone the trip and the booking amount can be used for any of your future trip with us.
•  Once you start the trip, no refund will be made if you have to leave the trip due to any reasons such as health, weather, family etc. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.
•  If you postpone the trip date and if there has been any change in the price of the trip you change your booking to and from the time of your original booking to the time of the amendment, the new trip price will apply to the reservation.

About proper Documentation:

• You must carry proof of your insurance policy in the form of, for example, your insurance certificate. Inability to do so will lead to you being disallowed to continue with your program; at the same time, it does not make you entitled to any refunds whatsoever. We recommend you purchase your travel insurance prior to coming to Nepal.
•  You must carry a valid passport and must have obtained appropriate visas when traveling with us. Please ensure your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas for the countries you are traveling to. We will not be responsible in case you are refused entry to a country or place because you lack the correct visa documentation.

Others:

• Booking with Access Nepal Tour and Treks would mean that you understand that we run adventure trips, where accommodation, transport, safety, hygiene, telecommunication facilities, level of infrastructure development, and medical facilities are not the same that you are used to at home or generally expect to find on a conventional holiday. This type of holiday inherently involves a certain level of risk, which you agree to fully assume.
•  You understand that during the course of the trip, certain events may occur, including, but not limited to, accident or illness in remote places without medical facilities, political instability, and the forces of nature. You agree to assume all risks associated with the journey to the maximum extent permitted by Nepalese law.
•  You acknowledge that Trips require a degree of flexibility and understand that the trip route, accommodation, and modes of transport are subject to change without prior notice due to local circumstances.
•  Should Access Nepal Tour and Treks deem it advisable to amend an itinerary for any reason, it may do so by shortening, varying, or re-routing any trip. These changes are binding, and additional expenses will be charged to you if the reason for any alteration is outside our control.
•  While traveling with Access Nepal Tour and Treks, you agree to accept the guidance of a trip leader or local operator at all times to complete the trip successfully.
•  You understand that Access Nepal Tour and Treks contracts with a network of companies, government agencies, and individuals, who assist us in the running of our tours, treks, walking, holidays & expeditions. To the best of our knowledge, these third parties are qualified to perform the duties they are entitled to by the contract. However, we shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, or irregularity that may occur due to the behavior of any of these third parties.
•  We will not accept responsibility or liability for any traveler who contravenes any law or regulation of any country visited, including Nepal.
•  We are responsible for informing you should any emergency situation arise due to political and/or civil unrest as soon as we have the knowledge of such situations.
•  The terms and conditions of all agreements made with us shall be subject to and governed by, Nepalese law.
•  When making your booking with Access Nepal Tour and Treks, you read and agree to the booking terms and conditions and sign to abide by them.
