Bardia National Park is the largest national park of Nepal and offers extreme wild life watching opportunities. The park is a part of Asia’s largest Tiger habitat. The journey to the National Park in itself is adventurous and can be quiet demanding at times. However, the painstaking is all worth it.
The park is home to animal species such as blue bulls, deer, wild boars the langur and rhesus monkeys, civets, hyenas, rhesus macaque, jackal wild dogs, sloth bears, otters, tiger, rhinoceros, mongoose wild elephant, black buck, gharial and marsh mugger crocodiles, gangetic dolphin and many other rare and other endangered species.
Although we operate the trip round the year, the best season to visit the Bardia National Park is between the months of October and March. The summer months of April to June can be as hot as 42°C and precedes the rainy monsoon months of July, August and September.
During wildlife safari in the Bardia National Park, you can encounter with many animal and plant species and get to learn numerous flora and fauna. Opportunities for elephant safari and rating along the Karnali River can also be fulfilling experiences. Plus, the visits to the crocodile breeding centre as well as cultural performances are certain to leave you satisfied.
