A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE- EBC TREK!!! Sep 2018 We, siblings comprising my eldest sister, myself and my younger brother just completed EBC Trek with Access Nepal Tour & Trekking on 18th Sept 2018.

From the beginning of the enquiry about the treks, Ms Sadhana had been very prompt and she put up an itinerary which suited us best. Even to the day of departing- she communicated with us and answered all our last minute queries. She also assisted in buying the towel for my brother who forgot to purchase it for the trek. Really appreciate all the information, suggestions, and assistance provided by Ms Sadhana.

Secondly, our guide, Devman Tamang was an amazing character- he kept boosting our motivation and mind strength towards reaching EBC. He guided us well in terms of food and health. He was there with us throughout the treks and time at the teahouses- sharing tips and information how to safely and successfully trek to EBC. He is a gem- very caring and have a great attitude. He is punctual indeed. We got great pictures of beautiful views early in the morning – his suggestion to wake up early as early morning provide the best view due to good weather. We were fully vegetarian throughout the treks- all the food and drinks were served hot and delicious. Devman has been a superb guide- we will never forget him.

Not forgetting our potters- Gopal and Bal Kumar. They were very friendly and helped us out as well. Not only carrying our bags but serving food and accompanying us throughout the trek.

We were blessed with wonderful guide Dev and porters Gopal and Bal Kumar. This is our best trip ever as siblings and reaching EBC with these wonderful group of people is truly fantastic. EBC – We Came, We Saw, We Conquer! Sep 2018 This trip was easily the trip of a lifetime for 3 of us siblings consist of my 2 elder sister and myself of cause and it will be quite some time before we stop talking about it!! We have done a lot of travel over the years but the adventures that were found around every corner on this journey to EBC were beyond our expectations and FAR beyond theirs!

Firstly, our agent who goes by the name Ms. Sadhana was clearly working behind the scenes throughout our trip. It was obvious that she took everything we told her during our planning stages and applied it to her trip framework, allowing us to get everything we were hoping for of our mind-blowing trip to EBC and MORE! Trust me, she is very prompt with her replies and always there to answer every single question.

Secondly, our guide, Mr. Dev Tamang, will be legend in our family forever. He clearly took pleasure in showing us what EBC is all about. He ensure that we were safe, well and taken care of and organised us the accommodations and food for us to keep going on daily basis. He is very knowledgeable and very well aware of every nook and cranny en route to EBC. Definitely a motivator and keep on pushing us every single second to achieve our goals and never take his eyes off us. Great work Dev and it’s a pleasure to meet such a good soul like you.

And finally, our potters Gopal and Bal Kumar. They were very friendly and helped us out as well. Not only carrying our bags but serving food and accompanying us throughout the trek.

Selecting a travel agent and advisor can be frustrating and even dicey at times. Not in this case. We could not be more pleased with every component of our adventure and must give this agent, the tour company, the highest marks possible. Thank you!!!

EBC Trek : Siblings Goal !! Sep 2018 EBC trek – an adventurous siblings trip whereby myself, my sis & bro – a memorable tale conquering the ever famous world”s highest Mount Everest Base Camp on 13th Sept 2018 (7 days trek up, 3 days down).

Access Nepal was a amazing company for trekking to Everest Base Camp. Ms Sadhana the travel advisor was great & professional in providing all the info we need. The trip was stunning, the trails, mountains, villagers & the views along the way was fantastic. We just can’t stop taking pictures.

Our guide Devman Tamang was absolutely incredibly friendly & extremely knowledgeable of EBC, the trails & food intake (he always ensured our food was on time). Thanks much Devman, you have made my dream & the trek excellent to attained my goal reaching EBC, without you I’m not certain would have made it to EBC with energy to spare.

Not forgetting to our super strong porters Gopal & Balkumar, the real heroes. They deserve all the credits as going up & down the mountain with our heavy load bags, really incredible. They both always been positive on the trek with their big smile.

This journey comprises of not only test on body strength but self endurance, purity of soul and mind which formed the main contributors to the success of our ad mission. Nevertheless, the trekking with my siblings was full of joy, laughter and creating moments that would be cherished by us forever.!!

Highly recommended – Best company to trek with for Everest Base Camp and Kala Pathar. Sep 2018 My wife did plenty of research before booking with Access Nepal as there are hundreds of companies offering similar services but nothing compares to the professionalism and efficiency this company delivers on.

The first point of contact was Sadhana who was always on the ball when it came to responding to any queries we had – prompt and to the point.

We arrived at Kathmandu and was greeted by our guide Jeevan (Dr JB as we now call him J) and his driver who took us to our hotel for the overnight stay and trip briefing before we flew out to Lukla the following morning.

The following morning we were picked up at 5am and were introduced to a fellow trekker Uma (our adopted Asian sister) who was going to join us for the same trip.

We all arrived at Lukla Airport and started our trek to Phakding and onwards to Namchee for the first part of our journey where we were greeted by our porters Gopal (Baby G) and Bir – two really nice, funny and honest boys.

As our journey started, we instantly bonded like Superglue and within hours we were laughing, joking and pratting around for the whole twelve days – it was more of a road trip on foot with friends that we’d known forever. We even had fellow trekkers on route always envious of the fact that we were always in good spirit and wanting to tag along with us!

During the trip we were blessed with excellent weather from start to finish and everything was regimented but also flexible so we could complete the trek in a timely fashion allowing any issues that may arise on route.

Our guide Dr JB has done this route countless times, along with Gopal and Bir and they really do know their stuff. They have seen people complete this and also people who think “they” know best, who have not completed this – so the best advice I can give would be to listen to what they say if you wish to complete this trek 🙂

I also wanted to thank Sadhana, Dr JB, Baby Gopal, Bir and Uma for making my wife’s 40th birthday really special on Base Camp by carrying a cake from Labouche and delivering it to EBC in one piece and joining us for photos and a little floss dancing at base camp!

One of the best holidays we’ve had with an excellent company.

Tips for travellers we learnt:

· Just be aware that cost to charge mobile phones/ camera batteries/ charging packs can add up on route to EBC (350 – 1000 rupees per charge) as not all tea houses will have charging points in the bedrooms, so if you are working to a budget, invest in solar panel chargers or buy more battery packs if your life depends on it!!

· Hot showers will cost about 350-500 rupee depending on location, but highly recommended not to shower to avoid getting a cold/chest infection.

· Water bottles can be up to 400 rupees if you’re in an area where you cant drink local water so just shop around in the village instead of buying from the tea house or use water purification tablets if possible.

· Look after your porters and guide and they will look after you! 🙂

Everest Base Camp Trek Dec 2018 Wow what a trip! From the start Access Nepal were extremely helpful in communicating with us about our upcoming trip. We arrived a day early and late at night to Kathmandu airport with an Access Nepal employee waiting for us to take us to our hotel. Sub was our amazing guide, could not fault him at all, he looked after us 100%. Even the other trekkers were jealous of our guide and company! We felt safe and in good hands the whole 14 days. The tea houses Sub chose were also clean and comfortable with great food. The porters that came with us were also incredible. Amazing Trek to Everest Base Camp Jan 2019 • Solo I just got back from the Everest Base Camp trek organized by Acces Nepal Tour and Trekking and it went really well! The agency met all my expectations, provided for the trekking, on loan, a sleeping bag and jacket, both suitable for the cold of January and a duffel bag as a gift! Still in Brazil, I received guidance on what to take in my luggage for the trek and the detailed itinerary. The guide Subodh, with a lot of interesting information, always very attentive, careful and patient, as well as the porter who accompanied us. The lodges were very simple, but clean and suitable for resting, with fresh and tasty food. The trekking was incredible, the landscapes wonderful!!!

Great company Jan 2019 Had a fantastic experience with Access Nepal to EBC in late Dec18 – Jan. Pratap was helpful and always prompt in responding to queries especially I am travelling solo this trip. And of course our guide Devman was superb and very experienced, our group were really grateful to have him and the two porters to make this trip successful.

The Himalayas truly have got amazing scenery and a very rich cultural influence. Thanks to our guide Dev who always share and explain the Buddhist culture, rituals and beliefs, which made us fit in to more of the local customs. He is well organised and will make sure every detail is in place, our small group have been fed with lots of tasty biscuits and fresh fruits snacks all along the way. He is with a great sense of humour and at the same time giving firm advise on our daily dietary on the way to basecamp given that there are plenty options to choose from on the menu; Dalbhat, ginger tea and momo were the iconic dish most of the days.

And of course without the help of the two porters, I won’t be able to make it to the base, they have been very dedicated and a great company all along the way, excellent services I have to say, you will know when you experience it yourself.

Mar 2019 We booked our 16 day trek to Everest Base Camp, and climb on Lobuche Peak, through Sadhana and the booking process was easy from start to finish. Sadhana was always on hand to answer any questions we had before we flew out, and no request was too much trouble for her to arrange. My partner and I were on our own on the the trek, and our guide, Pemba Sherpa, was great – he was so knowledgeable and we knew we were in good hands. After reaching EBC we went on to summit Lobuche East Peak which was by far the best thing we’ve ever done! The views were breathtaking, and the challenge was well worth it. We would not hesitate to recommend Access Nepal for trekking and climbing.

EBC Awesome Trek Apr 2019 • Family We went for EBC trek with Access Nepal and the experience has been awesome! We booked through internet contacting the staff via email. They replied quickly giving us tips and answering to all our question. Once arrived in Kathmandu, our guide Purushottam was waiting us at the airport and has never left us alone for the rest of the trip, introducing us to the Nepalese culture and to the Himalaya region. Trekking EBC – Good value for money Apr 2019 • Friends I did the Trekking to Everest Base Camp from the 7th to the 20th of April 2019. I contacted the agency a few months before and made the reservation. Sadhana, owner of Access, responds quickly to emails and answers all questions. Everything went according to contract, the trail demands a lot, since there are 130 km covered in 8 days on the ascent, and only 3 days on the descent, which I found to be tough. The company offers a sleeping bag and down jacket on loan. Also, I “won” an Everest t-shirt and a nice duffle bag. The guide was Kumar Adhikari, very nice and attentive. The only observation is due to the temporary change of flight to Lukla, since the runway at Kathmandu airport is being renovated until June, so flights leave Ramechhap, 5 hours away from Kathmandu, on very dangerous roads. I recommend going in October or November, when the situation is back to normal.

Apr 2019 Last April I completed the Everest Base Camp trekking with Access Nepal Tour & Trekking. This agency was recommended by a friend of mine that did the same trekking 2 years ago. Apr 2019 I have completed the trek to Everest Base Camp with Access Nepal. The whole trip right from picking me from the Kathmandu airport was very well planned and professionally organized. As I am not a professional high altitude trekker, there were so many times during the trek, I needed extra physical and mental support. The guide that came along with our group (Subodh) was always there for me during the entire trek. He even helped me to visit a local doctor at Namche for a check up as I was not feeling well. A trekking buddy and I decided to go with Access Nepal, a local Nepali touring company. They genuinely care about your experience, well-being, safety, and operate like a family. We did the EBC trek in April 2019 – and we had Dev Tamang as our guide – both he and his porter were excellent. Dev brings a youthful and positive attitude which makes what’s supposed to be a very difficult situation – an enjoyable one. Sadhana was excellent in her transparency and communication, and since our trek, I’ve recommended Access Nepal to a few of my friends already. In order to go on a trip like EBC, you need to be prepared for anything such as flight delays or bad weather, and Sadhana was very accommodating and flexible regarding every situational challenge we encountered. We had the best time in Nepal e and the best structure thanks to Access Nepal. From the day we arrived in Katmandu they sent someone to pick us up at the airport and drop us at the hotel ( which by the way was great). At night we had a welcome dinner with Nepalese food and dance. The next day was a free day that we went to the temples in Katmandu. The day of our flight to Lukla, they help us we tips of to take and drove us to the airport and help us with everything. And so the trek began, our excellent guide met us at the Lukla airport and was the best ever. Him and the porters really helped us with everything. From tips on how to be successful on the trek, on reminding us to drink A LOT OF WATER, and always asked if we were ok. Always explained the day before how it would be the trek of the day next. And when we arrived at the base camp, I felt altitude sickness and they really gave all the structure. Sadhana in Katmandu help to schedule the rescue with heli, and the guide made sure I was ok. They were really helpful, I got to the help I needed in time. And when we were back in Katmandu, we had a great farewell dinner provide by they. And the next day got us to the airport in time. I really recommend they if you are planning to visit Nepal, they did a excellent job and I will come back to do more treks with they.

We have good time with the trekking team and other team members over the 14 days Gokyo Ri trekking.

Thanks again to our guide Giri, porters Sanga (in fact, he takes the lead during the trekking too), Rajun and Boan (sorry for my spelling of their names). All the trekking arrangement did very well, Well done!

Altitude sickness: all briefing and preventative intake done Take helicopter to Lukla: unexpected but did not ask why, anyway, enjoy the holidays.

The toughest part is not climbing Goyko Ri in the early morning, but the 6 to 7 hours ride on a mini van from the Manthali (Ramechhap) airport back to Kathmandu. Hope it could be modified in the near future.

The only regret: can’t make the starry night photo right, as just too cold outside.

Incredible trek to EBC – May 2019

After making the decision to do the EBC trek, I did a lot of research about tour companies. I decided to go with Access Nepal because of so many positive reviews and the fact that they were based locally in Nepal. The whole booking experience was so easy. I was in constant contact with Sadhana who was so friendly and informative about the itinerary, logistics equipment etc.

I was quite nervous flying to Nepal alone, but I was completely put at ease as soon as my incredible guide Ganesh met me at the arrival area of KTM airport. From getting me to the hotel, to Lukla airport and ultimately to EBC, Ganesh made the whole experience so easy and allowed me to truly enjoy the adventure I was having.

Because I was on this trek solo, I got to spend a lot of time talking with Ganesh while hiking and at meal times. He spent hours telling me about the different regions we were hiking through, the local customs, other treks he takes clients on. He took time to introduce me to other guides and porters which was really nice considering I was otherwise by myself. His passion for the Himalayas was so obvious and it made the experience even more enjoyable.

If you are even thinking of booking a tour with Access Nepal, you should go ahead and do it, and ask for Ganesh! I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!

In November a group of 10 friends took a once in a life time trip to Everest Base Camp,we decided to travel with Access Nepal who organised everything for us. They provided a detailed itenery from arrival to departure. Our guide Subodh met us at Kathmandu airport and presented us with beautiful marigold garlands and took us to our hotel. Sadhna the rep from Access Nepal went through the details of the trek and answered any questions we had and reassured us that she was at the end of the phone if we needed her. We met our assistant guide Yes and 5 porters in Lukla and off we trotted. We had a very pleasant trip up the mountain visiting the little villages and meeting the lovely locals not to mention the Yaks and donkeys in their droves carrying loads of supplies up the hillside. The tea houses were a welcome sight in the evenings where we enjoyed many games of cards and chatted to fellow travellers. We made it to Base Camp November 13th, some of our group had medical issues subodh and Sadhna organised for them to go by helicopter to Kathmandu where they were looked after superbly. We enjoyed a tour of Kathmandu when we got back which was a brilliant. Overall , our visit Nepal was an unforgettable experience and we would love to return again and would highly recommend Access Nepal to anyone visiting this wonderful country before we left we were presented with certificates and beautiful sashes to remember our trip.

Oct 2019 • Friends This is my second time to Nepal with two of my friends and my first time to Everest base camp. Access Nepal tour is a good company for the service and it is worth in price point. They have already tried their best to do what they can and invite a very good bye dinner with us. It is no doubt to suggest this company as they give enough confident and detail before your Trip. I have searching some companies in internet to check the information even though it is my second time. Rahul Rai (the boas) is super fast to reply in a proper smart answer. Of course it is true for what he say. Jivan Baram our tourist guide which is super experience to give a good guide and arrange a good atmosphere as well. It is no doubt to suggest this company if you want to travel to Nepal.

Oct 2019 • Friends What an amazing two weeks we had with Access Nepal. From the moment we were picked up from the airport, till our departure day we felt so well looked after. Our guide Dev was amazing, always happy to answer any of our burning questions and set us up for our trip. He had a lot of experience and knowledge about the mountain and gave us lots of handy hints for making things easier along the way! Absolutely unreal scenery with breathtaking views the whole way!! The hike days were fairly well timed with plenty of time for rest and recovery which we really appreciated. When we had a few unforeseen circumstances, the Access Nepal company, especially Sadhana and Dev were quick on the ball to help us with all our needs. A very lovely and friendly atmosphere to be around who make you feel well looked after even miles away from home! Definitely recommend and would love to return some day – Thank you for an amazing time!!

This tour trekking to Everest Base camp was absolutely amazing! Our guide Jivan and porter were super friendly and very very experienced. We didn’t have to worry about the logistics day-to-day it was all taken care of by Jivan and Access Nepal. It made it enjoyable that we knew we were in good care and enabled us to focus on the incredible scenery and surviving the long hikes each day. Each day we would hike anywhere between 4-10hours on and off. Around 20-30,000 steps a day however at quite a slow pace to avoid altitude side effects. Recommend taking the Dimmox, there’s alternatives but when you up there you will want to increase your chances of succeeding. We started taking Dimmox from Namche on wards no need to take earlier. Expect delays flying from Kathmandu to Lukla, it took us a couple days and multiple heli flights to get to the start point of the trek. Weather moves insanely fast up there. One minute will be clear next your in the clouds. This may mean that you will combine days to finish the tour on time. Food was fantastic, I eat a lot and there was plenty of it! Only advice is to avoid eating meat, not worth the risk of stomach issues. Overall the trip was tough but absolutely worth it! Highly recommend Access Nepal to help you do this.

An amazing trekking

Apr 2022 • Friends I had one of my greatest experiences of my life in Everest base camp trekking. I highly recommend Access Nepal Tour for it. The guide, Jovan, was helpful and funny, asking all the time if we were fine or needed something. Both porters were also really professional and kind. The only thing I would have change was the duration of the trekking. 8 days are perfect to reach the Everest base Camp but the agency should consider make the way back in 4 days, instead of 3. It seems to me a better option if you want to enjoy the return to Lukla. Thank you so much Pratap and the whole team!

In Oct. 22 we did the Everest Base Camp Trek with Access Nepal. Since our first contact with Sadhana almost 3 years ago (due to Covid), she was very responsive to all our questions, planning and requests to do the Everest Base Camp Trek.

After arriving in Kathmandu we were not able to take a regular flight by plane to Lukla due to weather conditions, but the guys from Access Nepal and especially our guide Devman were very helpful and flexible to find an alternative route to EBC Trek.

We enjoyed our trip very much and everything was perfectly organised. Devman did everything to make us feel comfortable. As soon as we met him we knew we were in good hands. He took such good care of everyone on the trek and no question or request was too much to ask. Our porter was also very kind.

Our guide, Devman was amazing and had a knack for knowing what we needed before we did, whether it be a short break or recommendations on what would be good for dinner. His knowledge about his country and where we were trekking was impeccable and he never tired of my questions. If you are looking for a trekking company to do Everest base camp trek – look no further. This company will take care of you from start to finish! We had subodh as our guide. And Netra as our porter. It was just my husband and I with these two. They were an amazing team! They made our experience so good I would consider this trip a huge success! Our guide had everything we needed from water purification tablets to all the knowledge you need to help altitude sickness. He also helped me consistently carry my day pack. 🥲 Help that I needed on the trek. He also helped find good tea houses the entire way. Anytime we had a request he worked really hard to make sure we can get what we asked for at the tea houses!
