Destination Wedding Package - 12 Days

Welcome to Nepal!

Today is your first day in Nepal for your wedding destination packages. After your arrival in Kathmandu, representative staff from Access Nepal will be waiting for you at the terminal of the Airport for the pick-off in a private vehicle. You will be welcomed with a Khada (traditional ceremonial scarf) and marigold flower garland.

They will drop you off at a 4-star hotel. You can get fresh and relax for some time. In the evening, we will gather for a complimentary welcome dinner at a traditional Nepali hotel along with a cultural performance.

After having a hearty breakfast early in the morning, our day begins. Today we will explore Kathmandu’s seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The exploration tour gives you more learning of Nepali culture, religious diversity, and local people.

Our first stop will be at Pashupatinath, a sacred Hindu temple. There are many places to explore inside the temple. The flowing Bagmati River and Aryaghat (cremation place) are one of the major parts of this place.

Following the Pashupatinath, we will visit Boudhanath, an ain’t white stupa famous for its golden pyramid top and painted eyes. The surroundings of Bouddha are very peaceful surrounded by prayer wheels, and the aroma of incense sticks amidst a busy and fast-paced world.

After enjoying some relaxing vibes of Bouddhanath, we will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square. It is a royal palace, known as the ‘Museum of Temple’ because it is surrounded by over 50 temples. Kathmandu Durbar Square is also the home to the Kumari, the living goddess.

Continuing our sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, we will visit Swayambhnath, a popular Buddhist stupa located on a hilltop. The beautiful panoramic view of the city from the top highlights part of this place.

Thereafter, our day ends with the drive back to the hotel in a private vehicle.

Today, we will fly to Lukla officially starting our wedding destination packages. The flight duration from Kathmandu to Lukla is 45 minutes long. It will be a scenic flight, you can enjoy the beautiful views of surrounding mountains, terrace fields, and green forests.

After we arrive in Lukla, our journey continues towards Phakding. In Lukla, we will have lunch and continue our trek to Phakding. The trekking will be fun and enjoyable as you walk along the Dudh Koshi River and are surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

The trek to Phakding is easy with tolerable ups and downs. In Phaking, you’ll stay in a deluxe teahouse which has a luxurious bedroom with an attached bathroom and hot shower.

The final stop for today’s trek is Namche. You will start the trek early in the morning after having breakfast. The trail leading to Namche is beautiful. Passing through the rhododendron forests, along with Dudh Koshi River, the hike consists of some ups and downs which are manageable.

Along the way, you will walk through various suspension bridges and pass through traditional Nepali villages like Zam Fute, Toktok, Bengkar, and Chhamuwa.

Once we reach Monjo which is the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park for the permits. On the way, we will have lunch and pass through the Hillary Bridge, the highest and longest suspension bridge in the Everest region.

After reaching the Namche Bazaar, the famous tourist hub we will end our day. Overnight stay in deluxe teahouse.

We stayed for another day in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization which is key to preventing high altitude sickness. During your stay in Namche, you will explore the town visiting the Sherpa Cultural Museum and a short hike to the Hotel Everest View, the world’s highest hotel.

Today is also one of the major days of destination wedding packages because we have a ring ceremony event. The venues for the ring ceremony will be amidst Everest, and other surrounding snow-capped mountains. Exchanging rings and promising to love each other forever surrounded by those breathtaking Himalayas views is really a dream come true. The witness of your love will be those mountains that are standing there forever and giving the blessing for your love to be like that.

Today, you will bid farewell to Namche Bazaar and get ready to fly back to Kathmandu. After having a breakfast. we will take the Heli flight and come back to Kathmandu.

After arriving in Kathmandu, you will have enough time to explore the city. We will be busy preparing for your Haldi Mehndi ceremony which will be held tomorrow.

Today is another highlight of your wedding destination package because it’s a Haldi Mehndi ceremony. From early in the morning, your day will be quite busy.

The haldi mehndi ceremony will be held in the evening. During the haldi mehndi ceremony, the bride and groom will wear bright colors and hues of yellow, and green color attire.

The event will be fun and full of food, dance, and music. During the Haldi ceremony, the bride and groom’s family, friends, and relatives will apply the Haldi paste (turmeric, sandalwood, and rosewater). To add some fun, some may try to smear it all around the bride and groom’s bodies, uplifting the mood of the event.

Likewise, in the Mehendi ceremony, the bride puts henna on her hands and feet. It is believed that the darker the mehndi stain is, the more love the bride will get from her husband. The Mehndi ceremony is also a fun activity. The mehendi artist hides the names of their partner among the mehendi designs, and the bride and groom have to find the name.

During the Haldi Mehndi party, the groom will have a big entrance. He will bring the flower bouquet for the bride and they apply haldi mehndi together along with a couple of dances and all.

Undoubtedly, today marks the biggest day of your life and the major highlight of the destination wedding packages. In traditional Hindu culture and rituals, your wedding ceremony will be held. The day will be quite rushed due to the preparation and all. We will start everything early in the morning.

The traditional Nepali wedding ceremony consists of several rituals. Typically Nepali wedding lasts for more than 9 hours. On the wedding day, the bride will wear a red saree or lehenga. The color red in Nepali weddings plays an important role as it symbolizes love, commitment, and fertility.

The groom will also get ready in traditional Nepali clothes (Daura Surwal and Dhaka Topi). The marriage ceremony will be held in Mhepi Ajima Temple. The key rituals include the Kanyadan, Swayambhar (exchanging of Bermuda grass garland and rings), Saat Phera (Seven circles around the holy fire), and Janti Parsane, where the groom’s family will arrive and will be welcomed by the bride. It is done if you are celebrating with families.

To experience a closer touch of the Nepali marriage ceremony, you can also bring Tilihari, a gold necklace. You can place an order to make it in a jewelry shop. They are available at cheap prices.

After a long and eventful days from back to back, you might be tired. To give you the time to relax, we have arranged a honeymoon trip to Nagarkot for you to chill out and soak in.

We will start the day hearty breakfast and get ready for the scenic drive to Nagarkot. It is a hilltop village popular for the sunrise, sunset, and panoramic views of Everest and surrounding mountains. Located, far away from the bustling city life, it is a perfect place to enjoy your time with your partner. You will be staying at a luxurious resort. Night stay in Nagarkot.

You’ll stay for another night in Nagarkot and immerse yourself in the beauty of this place. The breathtaking views and comfortable weather make every stay worth it. During your stay, you can spend your day exploring, relaxing, and spending your time with one another.

Having breakfast in Nagarkot, we take a private bus and go on today’s expedition. We will explore the ancient cities of Bhaktapur and Patan famous for beautiful architecture, temples, myths, culture, and lifestyle of the local people.

We will be visiting three places out of seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The places we will be visiting are Changu Narayan Temple, Bhaktapur Darbar Square, and Patan Darbar Square. After the exploration, we will drive back to Kathmandu and we will stay overnight in Kathmandu.

In the evening, we will gather for a complimentary farewell dinner at one of the finest hotels in Kathmandu. Hope you had a memorable and dream come true wedding and stay in Nepal.
