In Oct. 22 we did the Everest Base Camp Trek with Access Nepal. Since our first contact with Sadhana almost 3 years ago (due to Covid), she was very responsive to all our questions, planning and requests to do the Everest Base Camp Trek.

After arriving in Kathmandu we were not able to take a regular flight by plane to Lukla due to weather conditions, but the guys from Access Nepal and especially our guide Devman were very helpful and flexible to find an alternative route to EBC Trek.

We enjoyed our trip very much and everything was perfectly organised. Devman did everything to make us feel comfortable. As soon as we met him we knew we were in good hands. He took such good care of everyone on the trek and no question or request was too much to ask. Our porter was also very kind.

We would highly recommend this tour company and particularly want to thank Devman very much for making our trek a wonderful experience!

After making the decision to do the EBC trek, I did a lot of research about tour companies. I decided to go with Access Nepal because of so many positive reviews and the fact that they were based locally in Nepal. The whole booking experience was so easy. I was in constant contact with Sadhana who was so friendly and informative about the itinerary, logistics equipment etc.

I was quite nervous flying to Nepal alone, but I was completely put at ease as soon as my incredible guide Ganesh met me at the arrival area of KTM airport. From getting me to the hotel, to Lukla airport and ultimately to EBC, Ganesh made the whole experience so easy and allowed me to truly enjoy the adventure I was having.

Because I was on this trek solo, I got to spend a lot of time talking with Ganesh while hiking and at meal times. He spent hours telling me about the different regions we were hiking through, the local customs, other treks he takes clients on. He took time to introduce me to other guides and porters which was really nice considering I was otherwise by myself. His passion for the Himalayas was so obvious and it made the experience even more enjoyable.

If you are even thinking of booking a tour with Access Nepal, you should go ahead and do it, and ask for Ganesh! I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

In March 2018 I trekked the Annapurna Sanctuary with Access Nepal Tours. What an incredible, memorable and spectacular trek! I was completely blown away with the beautiful ever-changing scenery we saw each day. I was very surprised by the yummy food and the accommodation/facilities were much better than I ever thought.

Our knowledgeable guide Devman is a legend!! As soon as we met him we knew we were in good hands. He took such good care of everyone on the trek and no question or request was too much to ask. The porters were also very helpful and kind.

The tour company was excellent and promptly responded to all our email enquiries.
I highly recommend this tour company as it was very well organized and we honestly had no issues at all. I think this tour company is great value for money.

This was my trip of a lifetime!!! This tour company was great. I started out in Kathmandu and my bags were 4 days late. I missed my original trek date because of this. Access Nepal (Sadhana) was very accommodating with helping me get my bags from the airport and filling out necessary paperwork to locate my items. The tour company provided me with a tour guide to tour Kathmandu while waiting on my bag. The tour guide (Ashok)was one of the highlights of my trip. He was not only a great tour guide but an author and goodwill ambassador for a region in Nepal which made for a very interesting tour. He spoke exceptional English and was very knowledgeable and passionate about the country. Due to the delay of my bags, the tour company offered to come up with a tour that would allow me to do the Annapurna Base Camp in a shorter amount of time. I was so relieved that I was able to do my original trek with my baggage delay. My trekking guide (Sher) and porter, (Ramess) were exceptional. Both were very experienced and inspired me to keep going. The trek was not an easy trek for me and I’m convinced I would not have made it without the encouragement from my porter and guide. They both made trekking very fun!! If I came back, I’d request the same two people. The accommodations were great. I especially enjoyed the Blue Horizon in Thamel. People on the trek were very friendly and you always heard a ‘Namaste’ when passing others. Accommodations and food on the trek were very good. There are a wide variety of food to eat and you always had plenty.
Most importantly, I am a single woman traveling alone. I felt very safe with all the people that worked with this tour company. This is a good company for solo women travelers. They are exceptional and very professional. I made lifetime friends on this trip!! I highly recommend them for female solo travelers. Nepal is a wonderful country!!! I’ll be going back.

I did the Mount Everest Trek with Access Nepal. Sadhana was our contact person and organizer, Ganesh was our guide and Kamel was our porter. Right off the bat I will say this trek is a challenge and it is amazing and worth doing. I would definitely recommend you do it with Access Nepal. What an amazing company with wonderful staff. Right from the get go Sadhana was quick to answer questions and make sure we had everything in order before we even arrived. She also has good connections for organizing extra tours in Kathmandu. Ganesh clearly loves the mountains and is a dedicated guide. His priority is your safety, sharing his love of the mountains, and making sure you make it to base camp. I felt like I was a pretty slow trekker, but Ganesh kept reassuring me “slow is safe”. Kamel was great too, it’s amazing the strength of Nepalese porters, they carry so much on their backs.
I unfortunately had my wallet and passport stolen while on my trip. Not only did Ganesh and Kamel do everything to try to find it, so did other guides. On one of his few days off in Kathmandu, Ganesh showed up to take me to the police station and help me file a report. He took me for lunch to his favourite momo restaurant and I got to experience the fun chaos of public transport. Sadhana took me for lunch, helped me organize taxis, printed off documents for me, and came to visit with me every night to make sure I was ok while waiting for my emergency travel documents. As stressed as I was because of the situation, Ganesh, Sadhana and Access Nepal made me feel safe and secure. I arrived in Nepal with a tour company, I left with friends.

Wonderful Tsum Valley and Manaslu Circuit trip with Access Nepal

A friend and I recently completed the Tsum Valley and Manaslu Circuit 26-day trip with Access Nepal. From the beginning to the very end of the trip our travel advisor, Sadhana Adhikari, proved very helpful with all our many questions. Every detail was taken care of from our arrival in the Kathmandu airport to our final dinner the last night of our stay. We were well taken care of during the entire trek by our guide Om Prakash Lamichhhane and porter Deepak Magar. A good example of going the distance (literally!) to provide for us was on several occasions after completing our day’s trek, Prakash walked a day ahead and back to arrange lodging when it appeared that rooms in tea houses could possibly be filled before our arrival there. We also felt extremely grateful for our superb driver, Prakash Pokharel, who somehow safely maneuvered us on very long and rough drives to a Tsum Valley trailhead and back to Kathmandu. Even the tour day in Kathmandu proved fantastic with our very knowledgeable guide, Kiran Bhatta, who filled the day with wonderful stops and a breadth of information on the culture of Nepal. I would definitely recommend the company Access Nepal; their dependable staff helped us feel that were in great hands for the duration of our time in their country.
