Everest Base Camp Trek with Access Nepal Tour and Trekking!
Oct 2016 • Friends
I found Access Nepal Tour And Trekking online. It stood out to me as they were decent priced, unlike many other trekking tours that were very expensive. I was initially concerned that the cheaper price may have brought the quality of the trip down. I was far from wrong in this regard! From the first email, to right through the trip, Access Nepal are perfect! The email response time was very quick and the emails were very informative. I sent plenty of emails with silly questions, but all were answered equally. Everything was sorted out for us. From getting picked up at the airport (they waited 3 hours for us as our flight was delayed!). From the hotel accommodation, the flights into Lukla, the accommodation on the trek, the food, the day to day activities, the looking after us when we weren’t feeling to good. The guide and porters were amazing! Our guide was top class! He checked up on us at least 10 times a day to make sure we were feeling alright. I personally had a lung problem, I found it difficult to breath. Our guide checked up on me plenty of times and made sure everything was fine before we moved on.
Each tea house we went to was awesome! They were very friendly and helped out. Wifi wasn’t great at some of them but that was likely due to the weather. I was very surprised with the food. I was expecting very bland and basic but it turned out very enjoyable!
I didn’t have any problems with Access Nepal! I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone! I will certainly be using them again in the years to come! Thanks Team!!

I would not hesitate to recommend Access Nepal tours for all trekking tours in Nepal. We did the Gokyo Lakes and EBC and everything was amazing. We had a bit of trouble getting to Nepal with 2 flights canceled, but all the time Sadhana was there adjusting our plans, taking care of everything and answering all my emails super fast.
Our guide was simply the best guide we could have, Subodh (or Sub) who help and looked after us all the way.
Thank you to all the people at Access Nepal, you guys are amazing.

Guaranteed support and unique experience with Access
Apr 2023
I did the Three Passes Trekking with Access and I can assure you that it was the best experience of my life.
Sadhana gave me all the support a few weeks before the trip, organized the itinerary, a guide gave me all the tips before the trip, clothes, health, itinerary, tips, and everything else.
In addition to everything, Lakpa was my guide, I don’t know what would have become of me without him, he recognized the moments when I was very tired, he arranged all my organization for a peaceful stay in the lodges and he gave me a lot of support.
Anyway, I recommend Access with my eyes closed, I want and will go back to Nepal in the near future and do other trekkings. It was my life’s dream come true!

Amazing company to book your trek with!
Apr 2017 • Solo
I just finished hiking Gokyo Lakes to Everest Base Camp loop with Access Nepal. I would highly recommend this itinerary as it takes you away from the “Everest highway” and into smaller villages and less busy trails. The Gokyo Lakes are incredible and one of the highlights of my trip along with making it to base camp. Personally I found the Gokyo Lakes to be more scenic and base camp more of a bucket list item. With this itinerary you don’t have to choose! Also you get the benefit of going up one valley and down another providing new views. I found the entire trip well organized and beautiful. I am a single female traveler and was a little nervous about it. Sadhana was very quick to reply and had me join with a group of 3 women already going which was ideal for me. Being alone I had many questions before the trek that were answered usually with one day. Once you arrive to Kathmandu everything is taken care of, which is nice because Kathmandu can be somewhat overwhelming in the beginning. We had a power tour of 4 of the main religious sites in Kathmandu that was really interesting and helped provide a lot of information about Nepal and Kathmandu. As for the trek it was incredible! Our trekking guide Ganesh spoke great English and did a thorough job explaining things to the group. From what I saw of other guides he went much above the average. Every night after dinner we would get a briefing on the next day including how long each section would be and sights along the way. He arranged all the rooms in the teahouses, porters, and flights in and out of Lukla. He frequently checked on how we were feeling and would even tell us what room he was staying in if anything happened overnight. The combination of a slow ascent and a careful guide meant that nobody got serious altitude sickness in our group of four. Considering we went as high as 18,000 feet this was an accomplishment. Most groups had to have at least one person and up to half of the group flown out due to altitude sickness in comparison. Accommodations are basic but I was happy with them for every night of the 16 nights except one. Expect a room with two beds usually a toilet down the hall. This is generally what is available in all teahouses. This tour includes basically everything: pick up and drop off at the international airport, all accommodations, flights to and from Lukla, all food while on the trek, guide and porters. I rented a sleeping bag and down jacket which is also included if you want and found them both to be good quality. While trekking you get one meal item and a cup of tea included for every meal. You do have to bring enough cash for a tip and some if you want extra snacks or wifi along the way. When comparing to other trekking companies definitely check to see if food is included because many I found did not. From people I talked to we paid less for our tour and in my opinion had a better experience. I would highly recommend Access Nepal.

So happy we decided on Access Nepal!
Oct 2016 • Friends
3 friends and I did the Everest Base Camp trek in October through Access Nepal and we couldn’t be happier with our incredible experience. In the lead up to the trip, Sadhana was so easy to deal with and answered all questions we had (and there were a lot!). When we arrived in Kathmandu, we met with Sadhana and our guide for the trek, Kumar, and we knew we’d made the right choice. Kumar was a fantastic guide and is so knowledgeable about the mountains. He was very professional and we all felt very grateful for having him with us during the trek. I would recommend Access Nepal to anyone wanting to trek or climb through Nepal.

THE MOST AMAZING TRIP EVER & THE BEST GUIDE SUBODHO TAMANG
Oct 2018 • Couples
We have just completed the 15 day trek from Lukla to Gokyo Lakes and then through to EBC. From the moment we landed in Kathmandu and were warmly greeted by our guide Subodho on arrival, to the welcome dinner, the seamless airport experience to Lukla (this can be a huge nightmare), the superb organisation at every tea house, to the motivation up every mountain, the expert knowledge of the Himalayas, Buddihsim and Nepali culture – Subodho was absolutely amazing!!! Having never done something like this before, he made me feel incredibly at ease, went out of his way to accommodate all our requests (we didn’t want to stay in one place for two nights and he quickly re-arranged all the tea houses). He had a constant supply of biscuits which always helped too! He knew exactly when to be present and when to leave us be, never making us feel awkward. We ended up spending most afternoons playing cards together! It was such a pleasure and honour to spend the 15 days with him and I couldn’t recommend him enough or the trek!

The best time to visit Nepal really depends on what you want to do. For trekking, the autumn months (September to November) are the best seasons. You get clear skies and pleasant conditions.

Spring (March to May) is another good season for trekking with its moderate temperatures and the greenery that envelops the hills.

Winter (December to February) and Monsoon (June to August) are less popular due to these being less convenient on the trails but they are suitable for lower-altitude tours and city sightseeing.

While we do our best to ensure your safety during the trek, you never know what situation may arise. A complete insurance allows us to take the best step for your safety.

Please share your proof of valid travel insurance before you can join any trek or tour. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before arriving in Nepal.

Personal expenses, visas, travel insurance and tips are usually not included on the package pricing. Please contact us for a customised quote on these based on your preferences.
