Access Nepal Tour & Trekking

This was my trip of a lifetime!!! This tour company was great. I started out in Kathmandu and my bags were 4 days late. I missed my original trek date because of this. Access Nepal (Sadhana) was very accommodating with helping me get my bags from the airport and filling out necessary paperwork to locate my items. The tour company provided me with a tour guide to tour Kathmandu while waiting on my bag. The tour guide (Ashok)was one of the highlights of my trip. He was not only a great tour guide but an author and goodwill ambassador for a region in Nepal which made for a very interesting tour. He spoke exceptional English and was very knowledgeable and passionate about the country. Due to the delay of my bags, the tour company offered to come up with a tour that would allow me to do the Annapurna Base Camp in a shorter amount of time. I was so relieved that I was able to do my original trek with my baggage delay. My trekking guide (Sher) and porter, (Ramess) were exceptional. Both were very experienced and inspired me to keep going. The trek was not an easy trek for me and I’m convinced I would not have made it without the encouragement from my porter and guide. They both made trekking very fun!! If I came back, I’d request the same two people. The accommodations were great. I especially enjoyed the Blue Horizon in Thamel. People on the trek were very friendly and you always heard a ‘Namaste’ when passing others. Accommodations and food on the trek were very good. There are a wide variety of food to eat and you always had plenty.
Most importantly, I am a single woman traveling alone. I felt very safe with all the people that worked with this tour company. This is a good company for solo women travelers. They are exceptional and very professional. I made lifetime friends on this trip!! I highly recommend them for female solo travelers. Nepal is a wonderful country!!! I’ll be going back.

Everest base camp trek

Certainly a trip I will remember and cherish for the rest of my life. I learned a lot of myself physically and my capabilities overall. No matter how difficult some days were with early mornings mixed with the altitude sickness and the cold, the views (which the camera never does justice to) were breathtaking and worth every step. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for an adventurous holiday away from the norm. Getting some training in prior is highly advisable also. Will make your experience that bit better.

Everest Base Camp Trek — Tony L.

Simply had the best time doing the Everest Base camp Trek. Sadhana was fantastic with all questions regarding trip arrangements. While in Kathmandu we added a day before and day after the trek in Kathmandu – Sadhana arranged this effortlessly. Her professional service and arranging was faultless. Made the trip so easy. Our guide Prakash was excellent with great knowledge of trek, region and I think his expertise in gauging the pace to walk at (especially up steep sections) helped our acclimatization. He always looked after us in the Tea houses and checked everything was fine.
To top it off we had excellent weather all along the trek.
Thank you Sadhana, Prakash and all the people at Access Nepal for a wonderful holiday/trek and great experience.

Myself and two friends have just completed the ABC trek through Access Nepal. We couldn’t recommend them more highly. Rahul was fantastic at replying back to emails with any questions, which made the booking process very smooth! We were met and dropped off at the airport and even offered an itinerary to do the days before our trek started!
Our guide Devman, two porters Bhrat and Dipak were amazing! All very professional, knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, made us feel safe and comfortable, met our requests and were happy to answer all of our questions along the way. Thank you all for creating such an amazing experience for us! We’ll be back!

Recently back from successfully summiting Island Peak in Nepal with Access Nepal. We highly recommend this trek. It’s not the easiest but with a good level of fitness it’s a great adventure. The trip includes a trek to Everest Base Camp and a great climb with ropes and crampons on Island Peak itself. Our trekking guide picked us up at arrival at Kathmandu airport and Sandhana (travel advisor) ran through the trip logistics before we set off the following day. With very helpful guides (trekking & climbing) and a porter supporting us throughout our trek, everything fell into place and all we had to do was concentrate on enjoying our trip. It was great to walk through the Everest region and summiting Island Peak was definitely the highlight. We can’t thank our local hosts enough for helping us have a successful trip and ensuring all the logistics fell into place, even when the weather caused problems getting into and out of Lukla airport. The trek’s schedule is well structured to minimise any difficulties with altitude and everyday our guide couldn’t do enough to ensure we enjoyed our trek, were well accommodated and weren’t suffering issues with altitude. If you’re thinking of trekking in Nepal we strongly recommend going with Access Nepal.

Everest Base Camp – Amazing!!

My friend and I did the Everest Base Camp Trek with Access Nepal and the trek was amazing! The tour guide, Santosh, was very friendly and took great care of us. Santosh was very patient with our slow pace which was mostly because we took a lot of pictures. Everything from the starting point up to the Everest Base Camp was really amazing, especially the view from Kalapathar which was breathtaking. I really recommend using Access Nepal, we had a superb experience. Finally, thank you so much Access Nepal for the Adventure of Life time!
