Access Nepal Tour & Trekking

I went with Access Nepal for my Everest Base Camp 14 day trek, and I had an incredible experience!

From my very initial inquiry, Sadhana was quick to respond and answer any questions. She made me feel very comfortable and connected throughout the entire process, and provided me with all the relevant information leading up to my arrival. When we finally met in Kathmandu to discuss the trek, she was just as friendly and kind and made me feel at ease knowing I was starting the next morning.

I was met by my guide Om Prakash at the Kathmandu airport. From there he was with me the entire time as we traveled to Lukla to begin our trek and until I returned to Kathmandu. Om Prakash was an excellent and friendly guide, with so much knowledge of the area, the culture, the route, where to stay and safe places to eat and drink, and he also took the best photos! It was very helpful to have a local speaking guide to handle flight and accommodation logistics on my behalf, making sure I have somewhere to stay and eat every night. Throughout the trek, he managed my health and recommended me the best course of action when I wasn’t feeling 100%. He set the trekking pace accordingly to ensure my best success.

Our porter, Bidur, was also extremely lovely during the trek. He handled my things with proper care, always made sure to have it ready on time by the evening, was extremely friendly and nice to talk to, and provided excellent service and companionship.

Overall I had a 10/10 experience with Access Nepal: the trip coordinator Sadhana, my guide Om Prakash and my porter Bidur. I would recommend going with Access Nepal if you are looking to conquer the EBC trek or any similar in Nepal!

ABC Trip: Access Nepal was Perfect!!

My wife and I had the vacation of our lives on our trek to ABC and this was partly due to the outstanding service of Access Nepal. From our initial contact with Sadhana last spring until our departure a few days ago, the service, thoughtfulness, attentiveness, and attention to detail was outstanding. For example, as soon as we walked out of the airport in Kathmandu, our guide met us and took care of all detail from then on through the rest of the trip.
It helped that the weather was perfect and we had no significant physical problems. Our guide, Pershotam and porter, Milan were both professional, knowledgeable, upbeat, and very caring. Their command of English was quite adequate.
My wife and I have hiked a fair bit in the USA, Canada, France, Switzerland and Norway. The scenery was of a scale we had never seen. These mountains are huge and severe because they are so new and uneroded. The food was much better than we expected. We had a choice from a decent size menu at every meal.
I strongly recommend both Access Nepal and the ABC trip.

Fantastic trek to ABC with the best guide and porter!

I initially booked onto the ABC trek via an external company in the hope that more people would join on and we would be a large group. In the end, no one else signed up but the brilliant Purushottam (guide) and Madan (porter) were so kind, inclusive and fun that I never felt lonely as a solo traveller!

As soon as I arrived at the first hotel in Kathmandu, everything from Access Nepal was fantastic. You could tell it was important to Sadhana and Partap to make you feel comfortable with the plans and well prepared for your trip. They were such friendly faces to be welcomed by and made me feel so at ease and excited about what could be quite a daunting experience.

For the trek itself, I can’t stress how helpful it was to have such friendly and knowledgeable people as Purushottam and Madan by my side. Every time we turned up to the guest house, everything was all sorted and made it so easy to relax and just enjoy the trek. I always seemed to have the best room with the best views too which I was very happy about! The guys kept me laughing the whole way; teaching me Nepali words/phrases and trekking songs, informing me of different Nepali customs, and looking out for me when I felt ill/a little sore from all the exercise.

I have come away with great new friends and know I will be back for another trek with Access Nepal in the future! Thank you to all involved!

If you are looking for a trekking company to do Everest base camp trek – look no further. This company will take care of you from start to finish! We had subodh as our guide. And Netra as our porter. It was just my husband and I with these two. They were an amazing team! They made our experience so good I would consider this trip a huge success! Our guide had everything we needed from water purification tablets to all the knowledge you need to help altitude sickness. He also helped me consistently carry my day pack. 🥲 Help that I needed on the trek. He also helped find good tea houses the entire way. Anytime we had a request he worked really hard to make sure we can get what we asked for at the tea houses! From a shower, to an outlet, to having a room above the dining area (it makes the room warmer). Netra went above and beyond. And was not just a porter. He took photographs and videos of us while we went up kala pathar on horses. I now have this beautiful experience captured thanks to him. 🥲 I am not a fast hiker and these two were very very patient. We made it to Base camp December 1, 2022. It was an amazing experience! I could not have done it without Subodh and Netra! Thank you so much! Pratap from Access Nepal also helped us with information, prior and after the trek. He was available on WhatsApp – at all times for any questions. He was with us before the trek, and after.
