Trekking through the forests and villages of Ghandruk, Chhomrong, and Dovan, we will eventually reach Machhapuchre Base Camp at (3700m/12139ft) on our 5th day. We will spend the rest of the day at the camp acclimating ourselves, enjoying the natural beauties of the surroundings.

The next day, we will reach the main destination of the trek, Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 m/13,550 ft. Gradually descending the altitude through Dovan, Jhinu Dada, and Siwai, we will conclude the trek in Pokhara.

Annapurna Circuit Trek: Manang 3,540 m/11,614 ft

This will be a long journey with the sights of gorgeous mountains and beautiful places to visit. The Annapurna Circuit Trek is a 16-day trek, which has a day set aside for acclimatization. We start the journey from Kathmandu to Besisahar on the 3rd day of the itinerary. On the 4th day, after the ride from Besisahar to Chame, the trek starts from an altitude of 2610 m above sea level. As the beginning of the trek is undertaken from a higher altitude, we will be travelling only around 10-15 km per day for 3 days.

Eventually, reaching Manang at 3,540m/11,614ft on the 7th day of the trek, we will be resting there. While acclimatizing at Manang the next day, we can either rest at the hotel and enjoy the views of the mountains. Or, we can explore the famous Manang Valley and appreciate the beautiful towns filled with the Tamang and Gurung Communities.

From the next morning, the trek continues with the high and low trails for 3 days until we reach the highest altitude of the trek in Thorong La Pass (5,416m / 17,769ft). From here, the trails only descend to a few destinations, eventually reaching Kathmandu, concluding the trek.

Mardi Himal trek: High camp 3,600m/11,811ft

The Mardi Himal Trek is mostly renowned as a simple and short yet very challenging trek in the mountains, among trekkers. The highest peak of the trek being the top of the Mardi Himal at 5587m above sea level, trekkers have to pass a few camps and villages along the way to reach the pinnacle. Travelling along the Pothana village on the 3rd day, you will reach the forest camp on the 4th day.

On the next day, after 5- 6 hours of trekking starting from early morning, we will be travelling to the High Camp at 3,600m / 11,811 ft, where we will acclimatize for the journey. You can enjoy the rest of the day with the magnificent views of the Machhapuchre naturally staring at you with its charm.

Ghandruk Circuit Trek: Ghandruk Kot 2,342m/7,684ft

The Ghandruk Circuit Trek mostly covers the villages, valleys, and hills near the beautiful city of Pokhara. Travelling through Phedi, Pothana, and Landruk, you will reach Ghandruk on the 6th day of the Ghandruk Circuit Trek. The highest point of the trek is Ghandruk Kot at 2,342 m / 7,684ft above sea level, a 2-hour hike from the Ghandruk village.

The basic itinerary of this specific trek doesn’t have a day separated to be acclimatized as the highest point of the trek is below 2500 m. But on the other hand, if you want to explore more of the village, you can spend an extra day here to enjoy and relax in the refreshing weather and the presence of the highest mountains.

Kali Gandaki Trek: Muktinath at 3,760 m / 12,336 ft

This is mostly a different trek from the other major treks listed above. The Kali Gandaki to Muktinath Trek is more of a spiritual journey than a trek to the mountains. You will be travelling to see the famous Muktinath temple, which is situated at 3760 m / 12336 ft. You can extend your stay one more day to acclimate in Muktinath if needed, and experience the highest pilgrimage site in the world. You can also spend the day by taking part in a spiritual bath under the 108 sacred spring water taps. The bathing under the water resembles the person washing away all the sins as a purificational ritual.
