I’m a 50+ woman with asthma and a dodgy back who successfully reached Everest base camp with my daughter due to determination but more importantly due to our exceptional guide Devman.
Access Nepal are a very professional company, Sadhana dealt with all e mails promptly with attention to detail, relevant information and suggestions. If you are being met at the airport go outside terminal building before looking for a placard with your name on it.
During the 14 day trek our group of 5 were looked after with a level of care that was unexpected. Our safety and well-being were an obvious priority for Dev which he ensured with humor, patience and kindness at all times. His knowledge and love of the region enriched the experience, but his sound advice on time for hot showers, food choices, clothes, times for trekking to enjoy the best weather, views, altitude symptoms and many more made the trek a success. It was apparent that Dev was well respected within the guiding community and tea houses, which in turn benefitted us. (Turns our he’s a great card player too!!) No wonder the company has an above average success rate in reaching base camp.

Everest 3 Passes Trek

I completed the Everest 3 Passes Trek with a group of friends in April 2018 and have nothing but the highest praise about the organization and service provided by Access Nepal. Everything was exceptional from the very beginning when I first contacted them about organizing the trek until our final departure from Kathmandu. The hotel in Kathmandu’s Thamel quarter was located in a pleasant secluded side street with a peaceful garden for relaxing before and after the trek. We were provided with a very interesting and comprehending guided tour of Kathmandu valley. Our transport up to Lukla was handled with exceptional care. It seamed that we would not be able to fly out because of deteriorating weather so we were moved up to an earlier helicopter flight instead of flying by plane. Our guide and porters were professionals who knew their way around the mountain and worked tirelessly to ensure that our stay would be a pleasant one from making sure all our accommodations at tee houses were in order to providing us with fresh fruit after each dinner. I’m quite confident in saying that we’d not have completed the trek without their guidance and help. All in all, Access Nepal is a serious and professional local agency that does an excellent job in organizing your trek for a reasonable price.

Go with Giri!
Karki Raj (AKA Giri) was an amazing guide. He was funny and knowledgeable and took care of us through our arduous trek to Gokyo-ri. I highly recommend booking with him if you can.
The trek itself is incredible. Much less crowded than EBC, Gokyo-ri offers similar altitudes and I’m sure equally breathtaking views (you sure won’t have any breath left at the top, anyway).
The tour at the beginning of the trip is also very interesting and culturally immersive. Though looking back, your time in Kathmandu will not be the highlight of the trip. The trek is just so much better.
All-in-all I think Access Nepal is a good company to go trekking with. They are professional, we stayed in a nice hotel in Nepal and always nice tea houses along the trek. We ate lots of Dal Bhat.

No regrets about booking Access Nepal for my Himalayan adventure. All of my questions prior to my trek were answered promptly by Pratap on the admin team and the importance of customer care was evident at every stage.
The welcome at Kathmandu airport was a reassuring sight and Access Nepal delivered every aspect of the itinery precisely as they had promised in terms of transport, accommodation and food. This made the trip stress free and well worth every cent.
Ganesh was an experienced guide who puts the customer first and always goes the extra mile to make the trip memorable and comfortable – thanks for getting my tea with milk perfect for my British tastes Ganesh. It kept me going on the tough sections when plain water just wasn’t enough.
I cannot recommend Access Nepal enough. They are a very well run organisation who deliver what they promise with a smile. My Everest Base Camp trek is already in the early stages of planning and I’m certain that Access Nepal will make that trek as memorable as this one was. Cheers!

Manaslu Circuit

I undertook the Manaslu Circuit trek with Access Nepal and it was fantastic. The scenery was breathtaking and I was very fortunate to have excellent weather and trekking conditions.
Our guide Chabi and porter Hari – were both fantastic and I cannot recommend both of them highly enough. They were excellent.
Access provided good service and communication in the lead up to the trek and while in Kathmandu.

Everest Base Camp/Chitwan/City tour

Very responsible company. He contributed greatly to the success of the trip. From the first contact, always trying to provide the best possible service, excellent hotel chosen with good structure. Great guide, very safe throughout the itinerary. There was bad weather forecast on the itinerary and we had to advance the walk and we managed to get a good view of Everest on the way up Kalapatthar. Perfect itinerary, no surprises!
I did the safari in Chitwan and everything was fine, the resort structure chosen was sensational and the tours were great. Excellent city tour passing through the main attractions of Kathmandu. I highly recommend the company!
