ABC Trip: Access Nepal was Perfect!!
My wife and I had the vacation of our lives on our trek to ABC and this was partly due to the outstanding service of Access Nepal. From our initial contact with Sadhana last spring until our departure a few days ago, the service, thoughtfulness, attentiveness, and attention to detail was outstanding. For example, as soon as we walked out of the airport in Kathmandu, our guide met us and took care of all detail from then on through the rest of the trip.
It helped that the weather was perfect and we had no significant physical problems. I am 70 my wife is 67 so this was really significant. Our guide, Pershotam and porter, Milan were both professional, knowledgeable, upbeat, and very caring. Their command of English was quite adequate.
We have hiked a fair bit in the USA, Canada, France, Switzerland and Norway. The scenery in the Himalayas was of a scale we had never seen. These mountains are huge and severe because they are so new and uneroded.
The food was much better than we expected. We had a choice from a decent size menu at every meal. The cost of the trip was very reasonable and very competitive with other agencies we compared them to. It was particularly reasonable considering there were only two of us and we had our own guide and porter.
I strongly recommend both Access Nepal and the ABC trip.

We did ABC trek with Access Nepal in early October. Our guide Mahendra was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the local area and clearly knows the guesthouses well. Went out of his way to get us a bamboo curry made even though it was out of season and not on the menu. Adjusted our route to make sure we had the best experience and views. The views on the trek were awesome!

We felt things were well taken care of with Rahul in Kathmandu. We met with him both before and after the trek to answer questions and get feedback etc.

All in all wouldn’t hesitate to use Access Nepal again in the future.

Everest Base Camp Treking with Access Nepal- With my experience and humble guide Devman Tamang

I am a 49year old male from Spore.
Selected the 14 days hike with Access Nepal and my guide is Devman Tamang.
It was an Excellent Trip which led me to decide to bring my entire family to go there again next year.
The places that we gone were beautiful and the arrangement made by the organizer- Mdm Sadhana who had proven to be very understanding and prompt with her advises and years of experiences, made the booking seamless. She had basically provided all the information and even helped us to book the additional day stay in Kathmandu and also arranged for us 2 additional land tours too. (with minimum charge) She is the best organizer who puts her customers at heart.

The trip was excellent. I was very lucky that my guide Devman who is fun yet very firm in giving us advises on what to eat, drink and even brought hot ginger drinks and medication for all of us, not forgetting the coconut cookies that gave us motivation to climb the mountains.

I was sick on 2 separate occasions and luckily for me, Devman really looked after me. He gave me assurance, gave me medication, brought the dinner to my room and even pray for me to have a quick recovery. True enough, I have recovered and our entire team managed to reach the peak of the base camp.

I will rate this trip “EXCELLENT, with the help of Mdm Sadana and the BEST guide in NEPAL Devman. I am currently planning to sign up for the Annapurna Base Camp for my entire Family.

P.S. do be generous in the tipping for the guides and the excellent porters. Most of our team mates gave about 25% i.e. USD240 as tips for their service. Seriously, this is the least that we can help them. They really worked very hard and deserve our support.

Two mates and i decided to take on the challenge to see Mount Everest via the EBC trail. We trawled through numerous trip advisor reviews and finally chose Access Nepal as they looked to have really good reviews.
A few hours after submitting an online query via the Access Nepal website, I was contacted by Ms. Sadhana Adhikari(Executive Travel Advisor). From that point onwards i felt reassured that we had taken the right option as Sadhana was extremely helpful and efficient in providing answers to all questions that I had for her. We decide to book a 12 day trek from Oct 1 to Oct 12 which included all accommodation and meals. The trip itinerary was very well organized and Sadhana stepped us through it in detail to ensure we were all across it.
Our guide Dipender and Porters (Hari and Jivan) were awesome. They ensured that at every step during the hike we were catered and cared for. After the evening meals we had fresh fruit and Dipender ensured that we were happy and content. His advice and care was outstanding. He is very knowledgeable of the EBC Trail area and was updating us on names and facts of the beautiful mountains as we trekked through. Meals and accommodation that were included in the package were of high standard.
One of my mates succumbed to altitude sickness two days before reaching EBC. Dipender and Sadhana were on top of it all and made all arrangements for evacuation within a few hours. At no point did we feel worried or concerned as we were kept informed of all arrangements. For my mate and I that remained , Dipender monitored us daily to ensure that we made it to EBC without any further issues. His care for us was outstanding.
Sadhana , Dipender , Hari and Jivan provided outstanding service and their help and care made our EBC trek experience all the more fantastic.
I have no hesitation recommending the Access Nepal company to anyone planning to take the EBC trek. We will be sure to use them in the future for further visits to beautiful Nepal and the magical Himalayan landscape.

Annapurna Circuit Nov 2018

Myself and 2 friends completed the Annapurna Circuit over November/December 2018. We were in contact with Sadhana from Access Nepal and our tour guide was Ganesh. Sadhana was unbelievably helpful every step of the way, helping us to book bits and pieces as required. Sadhana answered all questions and helped us in our decisions. Along the trek, Ganesh and the porters, Madhan and Subash, were exceptional every step of the way, answering all questions and assisting us when required. Ganesh gave us his undivided attention every step of the way to ensure we had a safe and enjoyable trek. Access Nepal has been amazing from start to finish, in particular Ganesh with his guidance along the way, and we highly recommend them if travelling through Nepal.

We did the Annapurna Base Camp with Access Nepal and everything was Ok.
We had a briefing meeting with Sadhana to understand how the trip would work, we just missed receiving the information about the hotels we would stay (since we booked the tour 1 month in advance, we thought they would have all bookings made). Actually, until now we did not understand how this works, if they book the places in advance or during the trip, because it was high season and there were 3 hotels that we stayed that rooms were not so nice (very thin walls, so very cold).
But our guide, Giri and our porter, Madan, they were always very polite and kind to us. The only thing we missed being with a guide was to receive a little bit more of information about the mountain, flora and fauna of the region.
The agency lent us very good quality sleeping bags and jackets which were very useful in cold days.
So if you are thinking on doing the trek with an agency we recommend Access, just make sure to understand what is and what is not included during the trekking – things like shower, charger, wifi and tea can make a big difference in your budget in the end of your trip.
