Access Nepal Tour & Trekking

I would not hesitate to recommend Access Nepal tours for all trekking tours in Nepal. We did the Gokyo Lakes and EBC and everything was amazing. We had a bit of trouble getting to Nepal with 2 flights canceled, but all the time Sadhana was there adjusting our plans, taking care of everything and answering all my emails super fast.
Our guide was simply the best guide we could have, Subodh (or Sub) who help and looked after us all the way.
Thank you to all the people at Access Nepal, you guys are amazing.

Annapurna Base Camp – the most incredible trip ever.

I decided i needed a change in my life and looked online for an extraordinary experience. Thats where I found Access Nepal. I decided to climb Annapurna with only a guide and porter.
From the outset my guide Purushottam (P.N. for short) was engaging and knowledgeable. We quickly became friends as he guided me through this extraordinary country and Himalayas region. My porter Sudip was equally as engaging and between the 3 of us we had an absolute ball.
PN let me settle into my own pace and always gave me options on climbing routs, places to stay or what to do next. I never once felt unsafe or concerned; moreover every day was an absolute joy. Both Sudip and PN understood if I needed space and likewise I enjoyed getting to know them, their country and friends as I traveled up the mountain.
To say that I was elated to make Annapurna is an understatement,. Its an incredible feeling of accomplishment.
I might add that PN always got me the best room in the tea houses and always ensured that my food and board was top notch.
The booking and payment process was easy, the communication always there. I can say that value for money this rates highly. There is a lot of talk about weather you should have a guide or do it yourself; personally i think that it gives you so much more to have a guide to talk you though the best paths, the countries cultures and to be the local conduit. More than once we came across a lost traveller who needed our help, plus it gives something back to the country and economy. I couldn’t recommend Access Nepal more highly.

Everest base camp trek

Certainly a trip I will remember and cherish for the rest of my life. I learned a lot of myself physically and my capabilities overall. No matter how difficult some days were with early mornings mixed with the altitude sickness and the cold, the views (which the camera never does justice to) were breathtaking and worth every step. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for an adventurous holiday away from the norm. Getting some training in prior is highly advisable also. Will make your experience that bit better.

We went on two different day tours around Kathmandu with Access Nepal, and both were great. The best was the tour of Patan and Bhaktapur, mainly because we saw so many different sights that day. Tour the museum as well, even though it’s an extra charge, though not much, as I recall. Both our guides spoke English very well and were quite forthcoming about the history and customs of Hindus in Nepal. They were both friendly and talkative. Sadhana will also customize a trip for you if you like.

My friend and I hiked with Access Nepal to Everest Base Camp in January. We were very happy with our choice of a local company. They were well priced, very professional and overall had a great experience. Our guide Kumar was the loveliest man who was very helpful when I became unwell with altitude sickness and knew what to do. Would definitely recommend using Access Nepal for any trek in Nepal, and will use again if I return!
