Sadhana gave me all the support a few weeks before the trip, organized the itinerary, a guide gave me all the tips before the trip, clothes, health, itinerary, tips and everything else.
In addition to everything, Lakpa was my guide, I don’t know what would have become of me without him, he recognized the moments when I was very tired, he arranged all my organization for a peaceful stay in the lodges and he gave me a lot of support.
Anyway, I recommend Access with my eyes closed, I want and will go back to Nepal in the near future and do other trekkings. It was my life’s dream come true!

Amazing 11 day ABC trek

In December, me and a group of 4 friends did the ABC trek with Access Nepal, guided by Dev. Overall it was a difficult but extremely rewarding experience, definitely made better by Dev’s professionalism and years of trekking. I would definitely recommend going with this tour company, as the staff were all experienced, knowledgable and very likeable. There were several instances where people in my group (myself included) got sick or injured, and we felt quite lucky and grateful to have Dev to support us and provide the right advice as to how to best look after ourselves while trekking, especially regarding the high altitudes.

For accommodation, the nights that we stayed in a hotel (2 nights in Kathmandu and 2 in Pokhara) were great, extremely comfortable and felt like luxury especially after the trek. We were also treated to two delicious meals, one in KTH and one in Pokhara, as an introduction and farewell.The teahouses while trekking were basic but had everything we needed, i.e. a bed and roof over our heads. Showers were available for free in 2 of the 5 nights, but the water wasn’t very warm. The other nights required a payment of $2-3 USD, which some would consider worth especially after a day trekking. It was quite cold, but with the down sleeping bags we borrowed from Access Nepal, we were quite comfortable.

Food was extremely basic, and we tended to stick to eat the same 5 food options over the duration of the trek, despite the fact menus had a very large variety of options. This was under the recommendation of Dev, who suggested we avoid dairy/meat/eggs/things our bodies can’t handle at high altitudes, which probably prevented us from getting even more sick.

The trek itself is said to be more of a beginner/amateur trek, but even we found it quite difficult at times. I think it was most difficult to adjust to climbing uphill then downhill for several hours a day. The scenery was breathtaking, and we were fortunate enough to actually make it to ABC (not all groups make it because of time constraints/walking speeds, etc).

I have recently finished Annapurna Circuit tour in Nepal (11/5 – 31/5) I had an amazing experience with Access Nepal Tour. From the day I book the tour, a lady named Sadhana organised everything from airport pick up and drop off to welcome dinner and farewell dinner all was included in the price. The trekking guide Mani is very professional and helpful. Mani always makes me feel safe and very encouraging throughout the trek, he took care off all the Admin side of things through all the Police check-points and I don’t need to worry about anything besides enjoying my trekking. I highly recommend their service to anyone who wants to do trekking in Nepal.

Everest Base Camp Tour

This was an all inclusive tour. We had a guide and porter for two people. They picked us up at the airport and our tour included hotel before and after at the Blue Horizon which is a perfectly nice hotel.A tour of Kathmandu was thrown in as well as some free meals, which were great. On the trek everything worked out well. Our guide was very friendly and we’ll informed about the area we were trekking in as well as details about the local culture. We are both in our sixties. Our guide made sure we acclimatized properly and was always checking that we were in good health. On the way down from Everest Base Camp I got I’ll with the flu. The guide and porter were extra careful with our care. We amended our trip somewhat to make the trip easier. Overall I don,t think you could get better value for the money we paid. 3 friends and I did the Everest Base Camp trek in October through Access Nepal and we couldn’t be happier with our incredible experience. In the lead up to the trip, Sadhana was so easy to deal with and answered all questions we had (and there were a lot!). When we arrived in Kathmandu, we met with Sadhana and our guide for the trek, Kumar, and we knew we’d made the right choice. Kumar was a fantastic guide and is so knowledgeable about the mountains. He was very professional and we all felt very grateful for having him with us during the trek. I would recommend Access Nepal to anyone wanting to trek or climb through Nepal.
