Me and my girlfriend have recently joined Access Nepal for the 3 high passes trek and Everest base camp from 24 march to 13 april, and we had an amazing experience that we recommend to everyone! We reached Mount Everest Base Camp 5364 m, Dingboche Ri 5100 m, Gokyo Ri 5400 m and 3 High Passes: Renjo La 5,388 m, Cho La 5,380 m and Kongma La 5,535 m. Sadhana, our main contact, was super kind and responsive since the first email, and confirmed to be an amazing and professional person once we met in person in Kathmandu the day of our arrival. Our guide was Kumar, an extremely humble, honest and joyful person, we loved every single day of trekking with him. He´s an amazing person and we recommend to trek with him if given the chance! The trek is long and strenuous, but the views and scenarios you can access by doing this trek are incredible and worth every single step taken to get there. We recommend Access Nepal 100%, we were extremely lucky to find this company for our first Nepal adventure and we’re super satisfied with the experience. It’s also important to use local companies, guides and porter to help the tourism and local economy, so please consider Access Nepal for your next trek! Access Nepal – professional and experienced

Access Nepal was fantastic for our back-to-back Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Circuit/Base Camp treks in Dec 2023-Jan 2024.

Sadhana’s warmth, thoroughness, professionalism and flexibility in organising our trip gave us plenty of confidence and met all of our needs prefectly.

Our guide Devman’s 18 years guiding experience, and superman porter Netra ensured we had two successful and highly enjoyable treks.

We really appreciated Devman’s knowledge and kind advice on diet, altitude acclimatisation, what things to avoid, and great suggestions when we had some challenges. While some groups didn’t make it all the way to Everest Base Camp, we succeeded in completing both trips and had a great time. A large part of this was due to our guide and porter, both very dependable and great people.

My wife and I highly recommend this company and we would definitely travel with them again.

Unforgettable Trek and Wedding

This was an unforgettable, life-changing experience. It began with an incredible trek, where our guide Puru took great care of us, ensuring our safety and providing valuable insights along the way. On the final day, we shared a beautiful ring ceremony amidst the stunning backdrop of the Himalayas. When Laura and I returned to Kathmandu, Sadhana and the team at Access Nepal organized a wedding that was beyond our dreams. They thought of every detail, making the day truly special and unforgettable.

Fantastic tour of Nepal

One of the main things that attracted me to Access Nepal, was the reasonable cost and the fact that they were flexible on dates. When you only have a week off finding a tour can be quite difficult. The only thing I was slightly wary of before booking was the lack of reviews on trip advisor. I think, as most people do, that trip advisor is great for getting a real idea of what a tour company are like, they currently have three outstanding reviews and these people were not wrong.

I had a great experience with them and would highly recommend them. As mentioned before the cost and timings were deciding factors for me. However they also provided me with a private driver for a reasonable cost. This was one of the best things about the tour. The hotel which they booked me into in Kathmandu was good. I wasn’t expecting luxury, but it was clean, quiet and everyone was very friendly. Even though on the edge of the thamel district it was very close to walk into the center.

Sadhana, who was the lady who I booked it through, was great. Very polite and welcoming and she came and met me on arrival at the hotel tO go through everything on the tour. So I was well informed and knew what to expect. The complimentary traditional dinner on the first night was delicious and a good way to start the adventure.

The tour around Kathmandu was amazing, the tour guide was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about everything and it was a real pleasure to talk to him about the history and culture of Nepal. When you have someone who has a lot of passion about their job and is proud of their city it makes a real difference.

The drive down to chitwan was beautiful, the driver was fantastic. If you ever make a trip to Nepal you will notice as soon as you leave the airport how mad it is on the roads. There are no rules, so I felt lucky to have a driver who knew exactly how to drive these roads and he made me very feel comfortable. He looked after me throughout the whole tour and even when I got ill a couple of days in took me to the pharmacy to get some medicine.

The only thing that I felt was a bit too touristy was chitwan national park. I felt like you were on a bit of conveyor belt been shown the sites, there was always people everywhere. It was beautiful but I have been to a lot of nature reserves and this was the only thing that didn’t really do anything for me. This is a personal thing and not anything against the tour itself. If you are an animal lover you will love it. The hotel there was clean and friendly, food was included and was fine.

The drive to Pokhara was again amazing. Pokhara is brilliant, loved every minute there. The lake is stunning and very calming and I would highly recommend going to the Tibetan refugee camp to see a Buddhist ceremony which takes places between 3-5pm every day. Its a got a great vibe in Pokhara and I will definitely be going back. Again having the driver was good as I got to pick and choose where to I wanted to go. The hotel was very central, right next to the lake, no lake view though and clean.

Overall if you are looking for a good value tour, flexible with timings, trusted and knowledgeable guides then I would recommend going with Access Nepal. I would certainly use them again. Thank you for your time and hospitality and will hopefully see you soon.

Great, well organised local company that go the extra mile to make your trip throughly enjoyable and stress free.
We just returned from the Everest Circuit (Everest Base Camp & Gokyo Lakes) with Ganesh and Kamel. The guide and porter were both very friendly and the trip wouldn’t have been the same without them. We will miss them!
Before the trek Sadhana was very helpful answering all of our questions. Next time I come trekking in Nepal I will definitely do it through Access Nepal – thank you and keep in touch!

We did the Annapurna Base Camp with Access Nepal and everything was Ok.
We had a briefing meeting with Sadhana to understand how the trip would work, we just missed receiving the information about the hotels we would stay (since we booked the tour 1 month in advance, we thought they would have all bookings made). Actually, until now we did not understand how this works, if they book the places in advance or during the trip, because it was high season and there were 3 hotels that we stayed that rooms were not so nice (very thin walls, so very cold).
But our guide, Giri and our porter, Madan, they were always very polite and kind to us. The only thing we missed being with a guide was to receive a little bit more of information about the mountain, flora and fauna of the region.
The agency lent us very good quality sleeping bags and jackets which were very useful in cold days.
So if you are thinking on doing the trek with an agency we recommend Access, just make sure to understand what is and what is not included during the trekking – things like shower, charger, wifi and tea can make a big difference in your budget in the end of your trip.
