Bungy Jump Introduced in Pokhara, the Tourist City of Nepal

High Ground Adventures, an adventure sporting company in Nepal, has recently introduced an adrenaline pumping sports of bungy jumping in the touristic city of Pokhara.

Located at the height of 70 meters (230 ft), the jumper can suspend over an artificial pond. It is a second of its kind in Nepal.

According to High Ground, its bungy jumping facility can handle 30-40 persons daily. Prices have been fixed at Rs 3,490 for Nepalis and Rs 6,890 for foreigners per jump. The company said it had invested Rs 20 million in the project. ~Kantipur News Daily

High Ground Adventures is the second company offering bungy jump in Nepal. The pioneer in the field is The Last Resort located at Bhotekoshi river, where one can plunge jump from the 166 m wide steel suspension bridge and plunge 160 m (525 ft) in the air.

Pokhara, a beautiful city located on the bed of Phewa lake of is popularly known as the tourist hub of Nepal and is one of the most popular tourist destinations for both local and international tourists. Along with bungy jump, Pokhara offers other sporting activities such as; zip flying, paragliding and para hawking.
