The Tsum Valley Trek is a 14-day Himalayan journey into one of Nepal’s most remote and culturally preserved regions in the Manaslu area. Located near the Tibetan border, this trek takes you to a hidden valley known for its strong Tibetan Buddhist heritage, ancient monasteries, and pristine mountain landscapes.
Often called the “Hidden Valley” or “Valley of Happiness,” the trek leads through traditional villages, deep river gorges, and peaceful alpine terrain to Mu Gompa at 3,700 meters. Along the route, trekkers enjoy spectacular views of peaks such as Ganesh Himal, Himalchuli, and Mount Manaslu, while experiencing the unique culture of the Tsumbas, who follow Tibetan-style Buddhism.
The journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola and follows the Budhi Gandaki River before diverging from the main Manaslu Circuit route into the secluded valley. The trail passes through Lokpa, Chumling, and Chhokang Paro, offering a mix of cultural exploration and natural beauty.
This moderately challenging trek is ideal for trekkers seeking a quieter alternative to popular routes like Everest Base Camp or Annapurna Circuit. With fewer crowds, authentic village experiences, and gradual altitude gain, the Tsum Valley Trek provides a rewarding experience for both cultural exploration and Himalayan adventure.
Our fully guided Tsum Valley trek package includes permits, accommodation, meals, experienced guides, and complete logistical support, ensuring a safe and comfortable trekking experience in this restricted and culturally significant region.

I found Access Nepal Tour And Trekking online. It stood out to me as they were decent priced, unlike many other trekking tours that were very expensive. I was initially concerned that the cheaper price may have brought the quality of the trip down. I was far from wrong in this regard! From the first email, to right through the trip, Access Nepal are perfect! The email response time was very quick and the emails were very informative. I sent plenty of emails with silly questions, but all were answered equally. Everything was sorted out for us. From getting picked up at the airport (they waited 3 hours for us as our flight was delayed!). From the hotel accommodation, the flights into Lukla, the accommodation on the trek, the food, the day to day activities, the looking after us when we weren't feeling to good. The guide and porters were amazing! Our guide was top class! He checked up on us at least 10 times a day to make sure we were feeling alright. I personally had a lung problem, I found it difficult to breath. Our guide checked up on me plenty of times and made sure everything was fine before we moved on. Each tea house we went to was awesome! They were very friendly and helped out. Wifi wasn't great at some of them but that was likely due to the weather. I was very surprised with the food. I was expecting very bland and basic but it turned out very enjoyable! I didn't have any problems with Access Nepal! I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone! I will certainly be using them again in the years to come! Thanks Team!!

Guaranteed support and unique experience with Access did the Three Passes Trekking with Access and I can assure you that it was the best experience of my life. Sadhana gave me all the support a few weeks before the trip, organized the itinerary, a guide gave me all the tips before the trip, clothes, health, itinerary, tips and everything else. In addition to everything, Lakpa was my guide, I don't know what would have become of me without him, he recognized the moments when I was very tired, he arranged all my organization for a peaceful stay in the lodges and he gave me a lot of support. Anyway, I recommend Access with my eyes closed, I want and will go back to Nepal in the near future and do other trekkings. It was my life's dream come true!

Access Nepal delivered the trip of a lifetime! Access Nepal did a fantastic job organizing our trip to Everest Base Camp. They planned logistics with us for over a year (even though there were only 3 of us) and communicated quickly and clearly. Our guide Jivan was so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and proficient. He answered my (million) questions as we trekked each day, patiently and with humor. Tek and Bashante, our porters, were unbelievable. Besides carrying some of our luggage, they also carried a box of fresh fruit all the way up just to help our bodies maintain some nutrition. I'm really happy to recommend Access Nepal for any of your travels in the Himalyas - you won't be disappointed!
