Overview

The Khopra Danda Trek route is a newly discovered and popular package among travellers. It is located in the beautiful Annapurna region of Nepal. The 13-day Khopra Danda Trek itinerary is packed with 360° panoramas of the Himalaya views. The single Khopra Danda Trek itinerary offers three viewpoints: Mulde viewpoint (3,637 m/ 11,932 ft), Khopra Ridge viewpoint (3,660 m/ 12,008 ft), and Poon Hill viewpoint (3,210 m/ 10,531 ft).

The trek to Khopra Danda is a hidden gem which is also known as the Khopra Ridge Trek. The majestic views and untouched natural beauty make it hard to comprehend in just a word. The fewer crowds and an off-the-beaten-path route offer a different kind of sensation. Trekking through colourful trails dotted with different species of Rhododendron and native flowers, terraced farmlands, and gradually into high alpine ridges provides an escapade.

At 3,660 m/ 11,942 ft, Khopra Danda Trek altitude presents one of the best sweeping views of Annapurna’s southern flanks to Dhaulagiri and the Nilgiri Massif and Machhapuchhre Himal.

The major highlight of the Khopra Danda Trek is the views of the Himalayas in golden light during sunset and sunrise. Unlike the Annapurna Base Camp Trek route, the Khopra Danda Trek is less crowded. As you hike through traditional Magar and Gurung villages peacefully, enjoying the jaw-dropping views, you will feel meditative bliss.

Most importantly, the Khopra Danda Trek doesn’t end with three viewpoints. This adventure also takes you to Khayer Lake (4,620 m/ 15,175 ft). This lake is located high on the ridge. There is also a Lord Shiva shrine on the lakeshore. Just below the Annapurna South and Kali Gandaki Gorge, beneath the lake, is magical.

The budget-friendly Khopra danda trek cost offers an all-in-one adventure in a single trip. This trek is suitable for travellers who love big Himalayan views, fewer crowds, and adventure. The alternative options for more thrill include the Mardi Himal and Khopra Danda trek and the Khopra Danda and Annapurna Base Camp trek.

Our Khopra Danda Trek itinerary is customizable. The shorter Khopra Danda trek itinerary 7 days, and Khopra Danda trek itinerary 5 days are also manageable and popular for those whose schedule is tight. The Access Nepal Tours and Trekking Khopra Danda package is all-inclusive with group discounts.
