445 reviewsAwesome 15 Day ABC Trek Dec 2018 • Solo I’ve just finished a fantastic journey to ABC through Access Nepal and I’ll be recommended this trekking company to anyone. Organising the trek from Australia was a breeze and once I was here the excellent hospitality did not end. With my guide Prakash and porter Deepak there was never a moment where I was concerned about the trip. Everything was manage thoroughly. Having an experienced guide on this adventure meant that all of our days were planned to precision, with a very clear idea of what terrain and challenges we had to face the next day. This was particularly valuable when we experienced snow fall, followed by sunny days that varied the trail and the difficulty of it. One of the best things I found was he invaluable information Prakash could provide. He also knew each guest house well and the managers which meant when even when there was an unexpected overcrowding of a guest house, I always had a room. The breakfasts, lunches and dinners kept me so well fed and I never felt hungry on the trail. The accomodation off the trail was fantastic as well. Great hotels, great rooms and great food. The day tour of Kathmandu was another added bonus - there is so much value in these trekking packages. Overall I had an excellent and magical solo journey to Annapurna Base Camp that I will remember for life. Next time I’ll bring my partner and will be telling everyone that this has to be done at least once in their lifetime. Thanks Prakash, thanks Deepak, thanks Access Nepal!!

ABC Trek Dec 2018 • Friends No regrets about booking Access Nepal for my Himalayan adventure. All of my questions prior to my trek were answered promptly by Pratap on the admin team and the importance of customer care was evident at every stage. The welcome at Kathmandu airport was a reassuring sight and Access Nepal delivered every aspect of the itinery precisely as they had promised in terms of transport, accommodation and food. This made the trip stress free and well worth every cent. Ganesh was an experienced guide who puts the customer first and always goes the extra mile to make the trip memorable and comfortable - thanks for getting my tea with milk perfect for my British tastes Ganesh. It kept me going on the tough sections when plain water just wasn't enough. I cannot recommend Access Nepal enough. They are a very well run organisation who deliver what they promise with a smile. My Everest Base Camp trek is already in the early stages of planning and I'm certain that Access Nepal will make that trek as memorable as this one was. Cheers!

Everest Base Camp Trek Jan 2019 • Couples We had a wonderful trek to EBC organised by Pratap and guided by Jivan. We felt that they were very organised and took great care to look after our safety and wellbeing. It was wonderful to reach Base Camp on a clear day, however, we enjoyed the whole trek up and back.

Amazing 11 day ABC trek Dec 2018 • Friends In December, me and a group of 4 friends did the ABC trek with Access Nepal, guided by Dev. Overall it was a difficult but extremely rewarding experience, definitely made better by Dev's professionalism and years of trekking. I would definitely recommend going with this tour company, as the staff were all experienced, knowledgable and very likeable. There were several instances where people in my group (myself included) got sick or injured, and we felt quite lucky and grateful to have Dev to support us and provide the right advice as to how to best look after ourselves while trekking, especially regarding the high altitudes. For accommodation, the nights that we stayed in a hotel (2 nights in Kathmandu and 2 in Pokhara) were great, extremely comfortable and felt like luxury especially after the trek. We were also treated to two delicious meals, one in KTH and one in Pokhara, as an introduction and farewell.The teahouses while trekking were basic but had everything we needed, i.e. a bed and roof over our heads. Showers were available for free in 2 of the 5 nights, but the water wasn't very warm. The other nights required a payment of $2-3 USD, which some would consider worth especially after a day trekking. It was quite cold, but with the down sleeping bags we borrowed from Access Nepal, we were quite comfortable. Food was extremely basic, and we tended to stick to eat the same 5 food options over the duration of the trek, despite the fact menus had a very large variety of options. This was under the recommendation of Dev, who suggested we avoid dairy/meat/eggs/things our bodies can't handle at high altitudes, which probably prevented us from getting even more sick. The trek itself is said to be more of a beginner/amateur trek, but even we found it quite difficult at times. I think it was most difficult to adjust to climbing uphill then downhill for several hours a day. The scenery was breathtaking, and we were fortunate enough to actually make it to ABC (not all groups make it because of time constraints/walking speeds, etc). Thanks so much Dev + the porters, we had such a great time trekking with you & hope to be back soon.

Great company Jan 2019 • Solo Had a fantastic experience with Access Nepal to EBC in late Dec18 - Jan. Pratap was helpful and always prompt in responding to queries especially I am travelling solo this trip. And of course our guide Devman was superb and very experienced, our group were really grateful to have him and the two porters to make this trip successful. The Himalayas truly have got amazing scenery and a very rich cultural influence. Thanks to our guide Dev who always share and explain the Buddhist culture, rituals and beliefs, which made us fit in to more of the local customs. He is well organised and will make sure every detail is in place, our small group have been fed with lots of tasty biscuits and fresh fruits snacks all along the way. He is with a great sense of humour and at the same time giving firm advise on our daily dietary on the way to basecamp given that there are plenty options to choose from on the menu; Dalbhat, ginger tea and momo were the iconic dish most of the days. And of course without the help of the two porters, I won't be able to make it to the base, they have been very dedicated and a great company all along the way, excellent services I have to say, you will know when you experience it yourself. I am very lucky to have this fun journey without any dramas with this group wonderful people, thank you!

EBC CIRCUIT VIA GOKYO - AMAZING MEMORABLE ADVENTURE Mar 2019 • Friends The guide, Devman Tamang, was excellent. Throughout the trek he looked after the group and was really helpful and friendly. In addition the porters were also friendly. The trek itself was amazing. The scenery and the views were outstanding, and everyday there was something different to enjoy. The trek felt well balanced and at times challenging but rewarding. Overall really happy with the trek, the guide, and the host, Access Nepal, who were extremely welcoming and friendly. Would book again and highly recommend.

What an adventure! Mar 2019 • Couples Just off an 11 day ABC trek with Prakash our guide and Deepak our porter. Could not have asked for better duo. Kind, generous, knowledgeable and always a delight to be with. The trek was spectacular. Not easy by any stretch. Almost always climbing up or down stone stairs for long stretches. Gorgeous views especially our early morning hike up to Poonhill to see the sun rise over the Himalayas. One unfortunate event. The region got hit with a massive snow storm and with the danger of avalanches, we choose not to risk the hike to MBC and ABC. Disappointed of course but in no way did it change our view of the trip. Couldn’t recommend it more highly to those prepared for strenuous days and simple living in the tea houses, Access Nepal a great company. High touch. Oh, and the Hotel Batika in Pokhara is really nice! My wife, the writer, will write more!

EBC and Lobuche East Peak Mar 2019 • Couples We booked our 16 day trek to Everest Base Camp, and climb on Lobuche Peak, through Sadhana and the booking process was easy from start to finish. Sadhana was always on hand to answer any questions we had before we flew out, and no request was too much trouble for her to arrange. My partner and I were on our own on the the trek, and our guide, Pemba Sherpa, was great - he was so knowledgeable and we knew we were in good hands. After reaching EBC we went on to summit Lobuche East Peak which was by far the best thing we've ever done! The views were breathtaking, and the challenge was well worth it. We would not hesitate to recommend Access Nepal for trekking and climbing.

EBC Awesome Trek Apr 2019 • Family We went for EBC trek with Access Nepal and the experience has been awesome! We booked through internet contacting the staff via email. They replied quickly giving us tips and answering to all our question. Once arrived in Kathmandu, our guide Purushottam was waiting us at the airport and has never left us alone for the rest of the trip, introducing us to the Nepalese culture and to the Himalaya region. Thanks so him we could reach both the base camp and the kala patthar. He gave us tips about eating and suggested us the best ways to prevent altitude sickness so we could enjoy every moment of the trip. We could learn a lot of new aspects of Nepalese life including typical cards games. Special thanks also to our porter who carried our duffle bags all along the trail, being always on time. Our rate is 5 stars, no regrets!

EBC exciting experience May 2019 • Family We found this agency on Internet and everything run smoothly, both from the point of view of reservations and information about the trekking program. The guide, Purushottam, always was very professional and helpful for what concerns the best and safest way to reach such high altitude (over 5000 mt). We learnt a lot from him about Nepalese culture and about Khumbu valley. Excellent performances of our porter. Strongly recommended.

EBC trek Apr 2019 • Friends I recently completed the Everest base camp trek with Access Nepal and couldn’t recommend the company enough. Our guide Devman Tamang was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and he shared his experience and knowledge with us all the way. I had a bad chest infection and at every stop Dev was there making lemon, ginger and honey tea for me. I certainly wouldn’t have made it to EBC without him.

Amazing experience to EBC trekking Apr 2019 • Solo Last April I completed the Everest Base Camp trekking with Access Nepal Tour &Trekking. This agency was recommended by a friend of mine that did the same trekking 2 years ago.I started the conversation with Ms. Sadhana on September, 2018 and she was always available to respond my demands with attention and professionalism. She was always prompt to provide all the informations regarding the trekking program, vacinations, payments issues, etc. Two days before the beginning of the trekking I had an injury in one of my hand fingers and Sadhana rapidly provided a driver to take me to the hospital and all necessary support to resolve the problem. I also would like to thank our guide Mr. Kumar for his knowlegde of the region, experience and attention to us during the trekking. I think it is not necessary to write about this extraordinary experience regarding this trekking, due to the fact that this is the most famous trekking in the world. Treking in Annapurna Circuit May 2019 • Couples We have just returned from one of our dream holidays of treking the whole Annapurna Circuit. Trek to Everest Base Camp! Apr 2019 • Solo I have completed the trek to Everest Base Camp with Access Nepal. The whole trip right from picking me from the Kathmandu airport was very well planned and professionally organized. As I am not a professional high altitude trekker, there were so many times during the trek, I needed extra physical and mental support. The guide that came along with our group (Subodh) was always there for me during the entire trek. He even helped me to visit a local doctor at Namche for a check up as I was not feeling well. Luckily, everything worked out fine for me. The porters that we’re provided to us were also amazing bunch of guys. Always there to help you in whatever way they can for us to complete the hike. Without the help and support of our guide and porter, I would not have completed my trek. I am very happy with all the professional service that was provided by Sadhana Adhikari and her team. They really go the extra mile to ensure that you are well supported during the trek. I would not hesitate to recommend Access Nepal tours for all the trekking tours in Nepal. Annapurna Circuit Trek Mar 2019 • Couples My husband and I had a great experience with Access Nepal. We trekked the Annapurna Circuit in March 2019. Gokyo Lake and EBC Apr 2019 • Couples I would not hesitate to recommend Access Nepal tours for all trekking tours in Nepal. We did the Gokyo Lakes and EBC and everything was amazing. An experience of a life time Apr 2019 • Solo The whole trip was great, even when they found out we were going to be late to Luklu they chartered a helicopter to get us there to begin our trip. Dave was excellent, insightful, funny and a pleasure to be around. You do lose your appetite when you are up high but bring a little extra cash for the mars bars. They help!

EBC Trek Jul 2019 • Solo From the beginning Access Nepal’s customer service was unbelievable. Sadhana answered all my questions very quickly and once I arrived in Kathmandu, Pratap made sure I felt comfortable. The trek with Dev Tamang was an unbelievable experience. verest base camp Oct 2019 • Friends This is my second time to Nepal with two of my friends and my first time to Everest base camp. Access Nepal tour is a good company for the service and it is worth in price point. They have already tried their best to do what they can and invite a very good bye dinner with us. It is no doubt to suggest this company as they give enough confident and detail before your Trip. I have searching some companies in internet to check the information even though it is my second time. Rahul Rai (the boas) is super fast to reply in a proper smart answer. Of course it is true for what he say. Jivan Baram our tourist guide which is super experience to give a good guide and arrange a good atmosphere as well. It is no doubt to suggest this company if you want to travel to Nepal.

An amazing trekking Apr 2022 • Friends I had one of my greatest experiences of my life in Everest base camp trekking. I highly recommend Access Nepal Tour for it. The guide, Jovan, was helpful and funny, asking all the time if we were fine or needed something. Both porters were also really professional and kind. The only thing I would have change was the duration of the trekking. 8 days are perfect to reach the Everest base Camp but the agency should consider make the way back in 4 days, instead of 3. It seems to me a better option if you want to enjoy the return to Lukla. Thank you so much Pratap and the whole team!

Oct 2024 • Couples This was truly a life changing experience. It started with the amazing trek where we were well taken care of and informed by our guide Puru. He made sure we were safe from the beginning to the end. On the final day of the trek we had a ring ceremony amongst the Himalayas. When Zac and I returned to Kathmandu we had a wedding that was made possible by Sadhana and the team at Access Nepal. They made sure the day was so special for us and they thought of so many little details. It was so memorable and so special to be able to share this day. Everest Base Camp trek April 2017 Apr 2017 • Friends We booked the trek to Everest base camp with Access Nepal as they were the most competitive priced, Sadhana our contact focal point was very helpful and informative, email replies were very quick and answered any questions that we had. From the arrival in Kathmandu and throughout the trek the organisation and professionalism was fantastic. Our very experienced guide Jivan and our 2 porters worked tiredlessly to ensure we were looked after, we felt that we had the best rooms in the tea houses and fruit after each evening meal was the icing on the cake. Being a smaller group the whole experience was more pleasant, some of the other tour operators were running with very large groups which made meal times, the trek and room assignment problematic. The trek ran like clockwork, our rooms were ready when we arrived at each destination, each evening we were briefed on what to expect for the next day. Lunch stops were leisurely, and the trekking pace comfortable to ensure maximum climatisation and eventual success to base camp. Reaching Everest base camp was very rewarding, the climbing season was well on the way and submitters were already in camp preparing for the challenge of the mountain, climbing Everest natural balcony Kala Pattar for sun rise and seeing the mountain mass emerge from the darkness was breath taking. In Kathmandu we were treated to a traditional Nepalese evening before the trek start, and on our return a farewell and congratulations meal at a very nice restaurant. I would certainly recommend Access Nepal Tours & Trekking, our Everest base camp experience was excellent. Thinking of a return in the near future to climb Mera peak, Access Nepal will be my first choose of tour operator.

2nd time trekking with Access Nepal! Sep 2019 • Friends Mum and I just completed Annapurna Base Camp Trek with this wonderful company yet again. We trekked with them last year and completed Everest base camp and had so much fun we had to come back this year. Service is above and beyond. We specifically asked for Sub yet again as he was so wonderful and made our trek so easy last year - and exactly the same this year, he is very knowledgeable of the areas and with his laidback personality it makes our experience that much better. Sadhana, the guides and porters are all absolutely wonderful and have great English! Hotels are awesome, food is great - absolutely nothing to worry about on this trek, we were so well looked after. 100% recommend and we will be coming back for a third time!

EBC and 3 passes trek Sep 2019 • Couples My husband and I went on a 19 day tour with access Nepal and loved it! Sadhana was great at answering any questions and we met up to go over everything once we arrived. Jivan was our guide for the trek and with over 17 years experience we were in great hands. Unfortunately the weather wasn't in our favour, but Jivan was excellent at arranging new flights and accommodation as our flight to Lukla was delayed 2.5 days. Jivan was always there and knew exactly what was happening and how best to get us the best deal. He was friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. He is great at card games and always made us smile. We were able to customise our trip along the way due to weather and access Nepal were great with arranging everything. Would highly recommend this company and Jivan as a guide especially if you are doing the passes, his expertise in the passes is legendary! Thanks for a great time access Nepal!

CULTURAL EXPEDITION TO FORBIDDEN KINGDOM OF LOMANTHANG Oct 2019 Our Guide Devman and Porter Gobal were exceptional excellent. Lodging exceeded our expectations, most of the time we had a bathroom in the room, although we stayed in Teahouses along the way. The Mustang tour experience is one that will stick with us for a lifetime. We were able to adopt our route, Devman and also Rahul made everything possible. So grateful to Devman and Rahul for all that they did along the way. Rahul is a great man for planning the trip for us knowing that we are interested in cultural things as well as doing some physical activities… We really can recommend Access Nepal to plan your trip…

Tsum Valley and Manaslu Trek Oct 2019 • Solo I did the Tsum Valley and Manaslu Trek through Access Nepal and it was an amazing experience! I am so thankful to my guide, Navaraj Wagle, for making this trip so special as I trusted him completely and truly enjoyed his (and my porter Deepak Majar) company. Throughout the trek, I met a number of different guides and each time I was so happy and grateful that I was with Navaraj. As a 30 year old women travelling alone, I always felt very safe with Navaraj and knew he was looking out for me. I also appreciated that he tailored the trek based on conditions encountered/what made sense instead of always just following the itinerary as this really improves the experience. If you are thinking of trekking in Nepal, I would definitely recommend Navaraj as a guide! Additionally, Sadhana was very helpful and I thought that the trip was laid out well. It was perfect that so many of the details were accounted for so I basically just had to show up and go.

3 week Annapurna Circuit trek Oct 2019 We did the Annapurna Circuit trek in October and loved it, Access Nepal were great right from the beginning actually booking the trek through to the lift back to the airport at the end. Pratap was very helpful, always responded quickly and made the trip seamless. We had a few extra days in Kathmandu at the end of our tour and Pratap still arranged the transfer back to the airport. Kumar was our guide for the actual trek and along with our porters, they made the trek so memorable. Kumar was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and picked great tea houses for us. He went the extra mile supplying a fruit platter after every meal - one of the team overheard us saying on the first night that I hadn't eaten apples in 18 months because of braces and the skin getting stuck - so they then peeled the apples every night from then on in. We had a great time playing cards every night with Kumar and the porters as well, there were 4 of us on the trek which meant we could be a bit flexible and Kumar worked to our strengths meaning we could go a bit further when we wanted to and change up lunch spots if we weren't yet hungry. We would definitely recommend Access Nepal!

Oct 2019 • Couples We did ABC trek with Access Nepal in early October. Our guide Mahendra was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the local area and clearly knows the guesthouses well. Went out of his way to get us a bamboo curry made even though it was out of season and not on the menu. Adjusted our route to make sure we had the best experience and views. The views on the trek were awesome! We felt things were well taken care of with Rahul in Kathmandu. We met with him both before and after the trek to answer questions and get feedback etc. All in all wouldn't hesitate to use Access Nepal again in the future.

The best company to trek with in Nepal!! Oct 2019 We would both like to say thank you to Access Nepal for an amazing experience doing the Annapurna Circuit trek. Initially Pratap was fantastic from initial contact enquiring about the trek, checking our suitability and for answering all my little questions such as water purification, bags and kit to take etc… Pratap was so quick at responding, great English and so professional in his communication with us. Everything was great from our arrival in Kathmandu airport, our guide Kumar was waiting for us with lovely marigold flower necklaces. The trip was arranged and due to festival a private vehicle booked for our initial departure to ensure no delays to our plan. Kumar our guide was amazing, he made the trip for us, making sure we were all safe, fed VERY well, the best rooms with hot showers where possible and also working with us to ensure we passed the Throng La Pass safely with minimal altitude effects. Kumar was always very professional, gave us great information and tips as we were walking – even spotting monkeys and blue sheep!! We were a group of 4 with 1 guide and 2 porters, both our porters Shambhu and Eklal were great. Kumar’s experience was greatly appreciated and helped us make the most of our trip and create some amazing memories. We were recommended Access Nepal and we would highly recommend to anyone thinking of a trip to the Himalayas!

Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley Oct 2019 • Couples Purushottam (Puru) from Access Nepal was an excellent guide for our trek of Manaslu Circuit and the Tsum Valley. He was able to modify our original itinerary always for the better to find us quieter and in my opinion better tea houses and towns to stay in. This also helps to disperse tourist dollars amongst more tea house owners and not just those in the busy towns stopped in on most standard itineraries. This gave us a better experience being able to interact more with the family who owns the tea house as well. Puru also helped us choose rewarding, very scenic and challenging side trips that were less commonly visited by trekkers and within our abilities. Oftentimes these trips required a full day trek in areas without a teahouse available for lunch so Puru backed us satisfying picnic lunches. On the last night of our trek Puru even planned me a birthday party including a beautiful cake from a local bakery, Marigold flower necklases, and dancing to Nepalese music. Our very musically skilled porter even played me Happy Birthday on his flute that was hand made out of a trekking pole! I was able to totally relax on this trip realizing early on that Puru and his team would take care of everything. Sadhana was also very pleasant to interact with over email responding very quickly to our many questions and coming to our hotel before our trek to walk us through the details and answer more of our questions. Highly recommend Access Nepal.

EBC Trek (April 2019) Apr 2019 A trekking buddy and I decided to go with Access Nepal, a local Nepali touring company. They genuinely care about your experience, well-being, safety, and operate like a family. We did the EBC trek in April 2019 - and we had Dev Tamang as our guide - both he and his porter were excellent. Dev brings a youthful and positive attitude which makes what's supposed to be a very difficult situation - an enjoyable one. Sadhana was excellent in her transparency and communication, and since our trek, I've recommended Access Nepal to a few of my friends already. In order to go on a trip like EBC, you need to be prepared for anything such as flight delays or bad weather, and Sadhana was very accommodating and flexible regarding every situational challenge we encountered. This was definitely an experience to remember, and I will be back. Thank you Access Nepal.

EBC Trek - Oct 2019 Oct 2019 We had the best time in Nepal e and the best structure thanks to Access Nepal. From the day we arrived in Katmandu they sent someone to pick us up at the airport and drop us at the hotel ( which by the way was great). At night we had a welcome dinner with Nepalese food and dance. The next day was a free day that we went to the temples in Katmandu. The day of our flight to Lukla, they help us we tips of to take and drove us to the airport and help us with everything. And so the trek began, our excellent guide met us at the Lukla airport and was the best ever. Him and the porters really helped us with everything. From tips on how to be successful on the trek, on reminding us to drink A LOT OF WATER, and always asked if we were ok. Always explained the day before how it would be the trek of the day next. And when we arrived at the base camp, I felt altitude sickness and they really gave all the structure. Sadhana in Katmandu help to schedule the rescue with heli, and the guide made sure I was ok. They were really helpful, I got to the help I needed in time. And when we were back in Katmandu, we had a great farewell dinner provide by they. And the next day got us to the airport in time. I really recommend they if you are planning to visit Nepal, they did a excellent job and I will come back to do more treks with they.

I hired the service 6 months before and Sadhana genuinely took care of everything since then. Amazing trek to Annapurna Base Camp Nov 2019 We did the ABC Trek in November 2019, and it was an amazing experience! We highly recommend Access Nepal Tour & Trekking. We wanted to trek with a company based in Nepal, and Access Nepal turned out to be a great choice for us. From the initial planning stages to the final farewell dinner in Kathmandu, Rahul (our primary contact) was a great help. Good service, reliable. Rahul answered all of my questions promptly, and always provided detailed and helpful responses. Rahul met us the morning after our arrival in Kathmandu, and ensured we had personal assistance for anything we needed throughout the trip. We wanted to visit Bhaktapur before the trek to ABC, and he made all the arrangements for us. One day we were taking a Tourist Bus between two of the cities on our itinerary, and Rahul even phoned to make sure all was well. When we had our farewell dinner/feedback session he noticed I had a bad cold and cough (and no meds) so he paid our waiter to go out and buy me cough syrup and decongestant lozenges! The company provides free duffle bags, so we decided to bring our gear in suitcases and transfer everything to the duffle bags once we arrived in Kathmandu. The bags were good quality, and waterproof, so this worked out very well for the trek and we’re glad to have the duffle bags for future trips. Access Nepal also lets you borrow down jackets and sleeping bags, and we took advantage of this offer; again, we were pleased with the quality of the jackets and bags, and just brought along our own silk liners to use in the bags. The entire trip, including the welcome dinner and city tour in Kathmandu, was well-organized. The hotels provided by Access Nepal in both Kathmandu (Landmark Kathmandu) and Pokhara (Batika Hotel) were very good. And the trek was the experience of a lifetime. Incredible mountains and waterfalls, forests, suspension bridges, interesting villages and people, hot springs, monkeys and more! Plus we had a wonderful guide, NavaRaj Wagle, and porter, Eklal. They were a great team, and lots of fun. I would highly recommend NavaRaj – anyone would be extremely fortunate to have him as the guide for a trek. He was an excellent guide, always professional, safety-conscious, knowledgeable, courteous, helpful, kind and caring. NavaRaj always provided us with great advice and information on the trek, whether about avoiding high altitude sickness or whatever. We knew we were in good hands and had complete confidence in him. Access Nepal is lucky to have NavaRaj as an employee, and we were very happy to make this trek with NavaRaj and Eklal. We wanted to spend a few days in Chitwan National Park after the trek to ABC, so Rahul made all the arrangements for that as well. We spent about three weeks in Nepal, and the staff from Access Nepal did a great job of looking after us from the moment we arrived at the airport in Kathmandu until we departed.If we ever return to this special part of the world for another trek, we will be booking with Access Nepal. And asking for NavaRaj to be our guide!

14 days slipping through the fingers very quick Nov 2019 • Solo We have good time with the trekking team and other team members over the 14 days Gokyo Ri trekking. Thanks again to our guide Giri, porters Sanga (in fact, he takes the lead during the trekking too), Rajun and Boan (sorry for my spelling of their names). All the trekking arrangement did very well, Well done! Altitude sickness: all briefing and preventative intake done Take helicopter to Lukla: unexpected but did not ask why, anyway, enjoy the holidays. The toughest part is not climbing Goyko Ri in the early morning, but the 6 to 7 hours ride on a mini van from the Manthali (Ramechhap) airport back to Kathmandu. Hope it could be modified in the near future. The only regret: can't make the starry night photo right, as just too cold outside. Recommended! Calnu calnu! move move!

Island Peak Climb Sep 2019 I had the pleasure of trekking with Access Nepal to Mt. Everest Base Camp in Sept. 2017 and was very pleased. When I decided to Climb Island Peak in 2019 I naturally went back to Access Nepal. From the planning stages to my orientation meeting in Kathmandu, my trek coordinator, Sadhana, was always available to answer my questions. She was very helpful and prompt always getting back to me with answers the next day. She even helped me customize the trip by shortening the itinerary and adding a day of rock climbing. When bad whether resulted in cancelled flights to Lukla, Sadhana and my guide worked hard to find alternative arrangements eventually securing a reasonably priced helicopter ride to keep us on schedule.

Annapurna base camp trek Dec 2019 • Solo I was reccomended by a friend to use Access Nepal for my trek to annapurna base camp. They definitely did not dissapoint! As a solo traveller Rahul was very trustworthy and made my stay in Kathmandu very comfortable. The communication between the time of my first initial enquiry and starting my trek in Nepal was second to none and Rahul was very informative and able to answer any questions I had. My guide Purushottam and porter/guide Madan were very professional and great company for the many days of the trek. We shared many stories and had many laughs during the trek. They made the whole journey feel very authentic and enjoyable and made sure that I got to base camp and home again safely. I plan to return to nepal in the future to complete the Mansulu trek and Everest trek and I will definitely be using Access Nepal again. Many thanks from Australia!!

Better than excellent Dec 2019 • Friends Myself and two friends have just completed the ABC trek through Access Nepal. We couldn’t recommend them more highly. Rahul was fantastic at replying back to emails with any questions, which made the booking process very smooth! We were met and dropped off at the airport and even offered an itinerary to do the days before our trek started! Our guide Devman, two porters Bhrat and Dipak were amazing! All very professional, knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, made us feel safe and comfortable, met our requests and were happy to answer all of our questions along the way. Gokyo Lakes, Cho La Pass, and EBC Oct 2019 I did the Gokyo Lakes - Cho La Pass - EBC trek in October-November this year. The trip was unforgettable, and I was very happy with Access Nepal's service. Everything was very well organized. Communicating with the office to plan the trip was easy - my contact, Pratap, was very responsive to questions and provided lots of good information. On the trail, our guide Jivan and porters (Mek and Santosh) were super friendly and helpful. I traveled to Nepal alone, and met two trekking companions (a couple) when I arrived. Since I was alone, I preferred to have single rooms in the tea houses, which Jivan was able to arrange every night. He seemed to know everyone in the villages we passed through, which was very helpful. Several nights he was able to get us upgraded rooms with attached toilets for a very modest price. One other detail is worth mentioning. Our flight from Kathmandu to Lukla was cancelled a day before the trek due to mechanical problems with the airplane. So Access Nepal arranged for us to fly from Kathmandu to Lukla by helicopter, making everything about the trek work perfectly as planned. I was impressed by this ... I'm sure it cost them some profit (maybe most or all of it), but they took the initiative to make it happen so we didn't have to worry at all. I'm not sure every company would be so dedicated. When I go trekking in Nepal again, I will definitely use Access Nepal. Couldn't ask for better service :-).

Incredible trek to EBC - March 2019 May 2019 After making the decision to do the EBC trek, I did a lot of research about tour companies. I decided to go with Access Nepal because of so many positive reviews and the fact that they were based locally in Nepal. The whole booking experience was so easy. I was in constant contact with Sadhana who was so friendly and informative about the itinerary, logistics equipment etc. I was quite nervous flying to Nepal alone, but I was completely put at ease as soon as my incredible guide Ganesh met me at the arrival area of KTM airport. From getting me to the hotel, to Lukla airport and ultimately to EBC, Ganesh made the whole experience so easy and allowed me to truly enjoy the adventure I was having. Because I was on this trek solo, I got to spend a lot of time talking with Ganesh while hiking and at meal times. He spent hours telling me about the different regions we were hiking through, the local customs, other treks he takes clients on. He took time to introduce me to other guides and porters which was really nice considering I was otherwise by myself. His passion for the Himalayas was so obvious and it made the experience even more enjoyable. If you are even thinking of booking a tour with Access Nepal, you should go ahead and do it, and ask for Ganesh! I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!
