From day 1 the Everest Base camp tour was well organised and we (5) were all well taken care of by Sadhana and her team. From meals, clothes prep and altitude sickness warnings we were all well informed and were left wanting for nothing. Ganesh and his assistant guide Kamal were AMAZING and sooo knowledgeable. The young porters kept us awake and positive on the trek with their infectious smiles and awesome Nepalese music. I recently completed the Everest base camp trek with Access Nepal and couldn’t recommend the company enough. Our guide Devman Tamang was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and he shared his experience and knowledge with us all the way. I had a bad chest infection and at every stop Dev was there making lemon, ginger and honey tea for me. We had a wonderful trek to EBC organised by Pratap and guided by Jivan. We felt that they were very organised and took great care to look after our safety and wellbeing. It was wonderful to reach Base Camp on a clear day, however, we enjoyed the whole trek up and back.Jim S Australia

We were recently in Nepal for our second trek with Access Nepal. The service was just as great the second time around, especially as a health issue forced us to change plans, which the company accommodated with aplomb. Our guide and porter, Omprakash Lamichhane and Deepak Magar, were excellent, as was Sadhana Adhikari, who coordinated everything, and helped guide us through the red tape. She even arranged for a birthday dinner and cake! We trekked in the Langtang district, which is still recovering from the earthquake, and is well worth seeing.

Everest Base Camp Trek & Island Peak

Recently back from successfully summiting Island Peak in Nepal with Access Nepal. We highly recommend this trek. It’s not the easiest but with a good level of fitness it’s a great adventure. The trip includes a trek to Everest Base Camp and a great climb with ropes and crampons on Island Peak itself. Our trekking guide Prakash picked us up at arrival at Kathmandu airport and Sandhana (travel adviser) ran us through the trip logistics before we set off the following day. With very helpful guides (trekking & climbing) and a porter supporting us throughout our trek, everything fell into place and all we had to do was concentrate on enjoying our trip. It was great to walk through the Everest region and summiting Island Peak was definitely the highlight. We can’t thank our Access Nepal enough for helping us have a successful trip and ensuring all the logistics fell into place, even when the weather caused problems getting into and out of Lukla airport. The trek’s schedule is well structured to minimise any difficulties with altitude and everyday our guide couldn’t do enough to ensure we enjoyed our trek, were well accommodated and weren’t suffering issues with altitude. In Oct. 22 we did the Everest Base Camp Trek with Access Nepal. Since our first contact with Sadhana almost 3 years ago (due to Covid), she was very responsive to all our questions, planning and requests to do the Everest Base Camp Trek.After arriving in Kathmandu we were not able to take a regular flight by plane to Lukla due to weather conditions, but the guys from Access Nepal and especially our guide Devman were very helpful and flexible to find an alternative route to EBC Trek.
We enjoyed our trip very much and everything was perfectly organised. Devman did everything to make us feel comfortable. As soon as we met him we knew we were in good hands. He took such good care of everyone on the trek and no question or request was too much to ask. Our porter was also very kind.
We would highly recommend this tour company and particularly want to thank Devman very much for making our trek a wonderful experience!
