Me and my girlfriend have recently joined Access Nepal for the 3 high passes trek and Everest base camp from 24 march to 13 april, and we had an amazing experience that we recommend to everyone! We reached Mount Everest Base Camp 5364 m, Dingboche Ri 5100 m, Gokyo Ri 5400 m and 3 High Passes: Renjo La 5,388 m, Cho La 5,380 m and Kongma La 5,535 m. Sadhana, our main contact, was super kind and responsive since the first email, and confirmed to be an amazing and professional person once we met in person in Kathmandu the day of our arrival. Our guide was Kumar, an extremely humble, honest and joyful person, we loved every single day of trekking with him. He´s an amazing person and we recommend to trek with him if given the chance! The trek is long and strenuous, but the views and scenarios you can access by doing this trek are incredible and worth every single step taken to get there. We recommend Access Nepal 100%, we were extremely lucky to find this company for our first Nepal adventure and we’re super satisfied with the experience. It’s also important to use local companies, guides and porter to help the tourism and local economy, so please consider Access Nepal for your next trek! 3 friends and I did the Everest Base Camp trek in October through Access Nepal and we couldn’t be happier with our incredible experience. In the lead up to the trip, Sadhana was so easy to deal with and answered all questions we had (and there were a lot!). When we arrived in Kathmandu, we met with Sadhana and our guide for the trek, Kumar, and we knew we’d made the right choice. Kumar was a fantastic guide and is so knowledgeable about the mountains. He was very professional and we all felt very grateful for having him with us during the trek. I would recommend Access Nepal to anyone wanting to trek or climb through Nepal.

ABC!

Hi, my partner and I have just completed a 10 days trek to ABC through Ghorepani. Although July-August is not exaclty the best season to go (we were aware, however), the trek has been amazing, a truly experience that we will remember for ever. We think that a great part of this success is thanks to our guide Jivan Baram. He did his job perfectly, taking care of us from the first minute at the Kathmandu airport to the last greetings before leaving. He was always present when needed, accurate and kind at the same time. He always made the right decisions whenever we need to change our plan due the weather – rain, usually 🙂 – or our tiredness, tailoring the legs and the breaks on our possibilities (we are not two young super-fit anymore, unfortunately). We immediately understood we would be in good hands with him looking after us. Of course, we can’t forget our young and sweet porter Robin for his precious and tireless work.

So, for us, Access Nepal is without any doubts to be recommended to anyone who wants to live an experience like this!

Thanks again Access Nepal, Jivan and Robin and, who knows, see you again sometimes!

Royal Trek

I recently completed the Royal Trek, and it was a fantastic, illuminating experience. Access Nepal runs a tight ship, and the manager, Sadhana, was very prompt in returning emails and text message while booking our trip–even with a nearly 12-hour time difference.

Our guide and porter on the trek were very professional, knowledgable, and patient. Our guide for the Kathmandu city day tour was an encyclopedia of knowledge.

The views of the Annapurna range were breathtaking.

Amazing trek to Annapurna Base Camp

We did the ABC Trek in November 2019, and it was an amazing experience! We highly recommend Access Nepal Tour & Trekking.

We wanted to trek with a company based in Nepal, and Access Nepal turned out to be a great choice for us. From the initial planning stages to the final farewell dinner in Kathmandu, Rahul (our primary contact) was a great help. Good service, reliable. Rahul answered all of my questions promptly, and always provided detailed and helpful responses. Rahul met us the morning after our arrival in Kathmandu, and ensured we had personal assistance for anything we needed throughout the trip. We wanted to visit Bhaktapur before the trek to ABC, and he made all the arrangements for us. One day we were taking a Tourist Bus between two of the cities on our itinerary, and Rahul even phoned to make sure all was well. When we had our farewell dinner/feedback session he noticed I had a bad cold and cough (and no meds) so he paid our waiter to go out and buy me cough syrup and decongestant lozenges!

The company provides free duffle bags, so we decided to bring our gear in suitcases and transfer everything to the duffle bags once we arrived in Kathmandu. The bags were good quality, and waterproof, so this worked out very well for the trek and we’re glad to have the duffle bags for future trips. Access Nepal also lets you borrow down jackets and sleeping bags, and we took advantage of this offer; again, we were pleased with the quality of the jackets and bags, and just brought along our own silk liners to use in the bags.

The entire trip, including the welcome dinner and city tour in Kathmandu, was well-organized. The hotels provided by Access Nepal in both Kathmandu (Landmark Kathmandu) and Pokhara (Batika Hotel) were very good. And the trek was the experience of a lifetime. Incredible mountains and waterfalls, forests, suspension bridges, interesting villages and people, hot springs, monkeys and more! Plus we had a wonderful guide, NavaRaj Wagle, and porter, Eklal. They were a great team, and lots of fun.

I would highly recommend NavaRaj – anyone would be extremely fortunate to have him as the guide for a trek. He was an excellent guide, always professional, safety-conscious, knowledgeable, courteous, helpful, kind and caring. NavaRaj always provided us with great advice and information on the trek, whether about avoiding high altitude sickness or whatever. We knew we were in good hands and had complete confidence in him. Access Nepal is lucky to have NavaRaj as an employee, and we were very happy to make this trek with NavaRaj and Eklal.

We wanted to spend a few days in Chitwan National Park after the trek to ABC, so Rahul made all the arrangements for that as well.

We spent about three weeks in Nepal, and the staff from Access Nepal did a great job of looking after us from the moment we arrived at the airport in Kathmandu until we departed.If we ever return to this special part of the world for another trek, we will be booking with Access Nepal. And asking for NavaRaj to be our guide!

We spent 3 weeks in Nepal with friends, we did the Annapurna trekking and visited the Chitwan jungle, the guide Deevman was a 10, very attentive and professional.
We would return without hesitation!!
