I did the Everest Base Camp Trek in March 2018. It was an absolutely amazing experience. From the beginning Sadhana was a pleasure to work with. She was very professional and helpful. She is not only highly professional , but also a very kind and an amazing person. She was very efficient answering all emails immediately, addressing all questions and requests. She organized two amazing extra tours for me. Rock climbing and sightseeing tour. Both were great! All guilds were absolutely professional,experienced and skilled. Climbing guide Pemba Sherpa was unbelievable. He was professional, highly skilled and just great person! I had amazing climbing day ! Would absolutely go with them again. Once I arrived I was picked up at the airport by my guide, Ganesh. He was incredible ! Ganesh was professional and knowledgeable. He gave us lots of wise advice during the trek. Ganesh was just absolutely the best guid you can possibly have , full of knowledge and had great sense of humour ! We was the happiest team laughing all the way there and back LOL ! Upon arrival at Lukla I met our porter Kamal, he was great, professional, helpful and responsible ! I don’t have enough words to express how incredible my experience with Access Nepal was! company provided us with everything we needed including great quality sleeping bags, dawn jackets, great guides, etc. I would highly recommend Access Nepal for trekkers interested in seeing the Himalayas.

Gokyo Lakes, Cho La Pass, and EBC

I did the Gokyo Lakes – Cho La Pass – EBC trek in October-November this year. The trip was unforgettable, and I was very happy with Access Nepal’s service. Everything was very well organized. Communicating with the office to plan the trip was easy – my contact, Pratap, was very responsive to questions and provided lots of good information. On the trail, our guide Jivan and porters (Mek and Santosh) were super friendly and helpful.

I traveled to Nepal alone, and met two trekking companions (a couple) when I arrived. Since I was alone, I preferred to have single rooms in the tea houses, which Jivan was able to arrange every night. He seemed to know everyone in the villages we passed through, which was very helpful. Several nights he was able to get us upgraded rooms with attached toilets for a very modest price.

One other detail is worth mentioning. Our flight from Kathmandu to Lukla was cancelled a day before the trek due to mechanical problems with the airplane. So Access Nepal arranged for us to fly from Kathmandu to Lukla by helicopter, making everything about the trek work perfectly as planned. I was impressed by this … I’m sure it cost them some profit (maybe most or all of it), but they took the initiative to make it happen so we didn’t have to worry at all. I’m not sure every company would be so dedicated.

When I go trekking in Nepal again, I will definitely use Access Nepal. Couldn’t ask for better service :-).

Overall, I had a great experience with the company. The people who work for the company and the guides that were assigned to our trip were very nice — especially Sher Rai!
Ms. Sadhana, the executive travel advisor for our trip, was very responsive to our questions and needs, and she really made an effort to make us all feel welcome and comfortable in Kathmandu. One thing I would like to have different is to have a choice of the type of lodges or tea houses to stay during the trek. I wouldn’t mind paying a little extra to get a more comfortable accommodation which would really matter on this very tough trek. We didn’t have or not made aware of that option.

I have just completed a fantastic trek to Annapurna Base camp with Access Nepal and have nothing but praise for the way the trek was organised. Sudhana explained everything to me at our first meeting and I was taken care of really well.
My guide Prakash was just fantastic and made sure I was never wanting for anything during the trek and along with my Porter Saroj all 3 of us became a team.
The effort required to trek to base camp was certainly worth it as the views were amazing and it all added up to an unforgettable experience.

For the very first time in my life, I completed the EBC and Gokyo Trek with my friends on April 2024. Sadhana made our trek schedule very easy and flexible. Her planning and organization skill was top-notch. Every detail was taken care of, form accommodations to all permits, ensuring that all we had to do was enjoy the trek.
Our Guide Subash Tamang was an absolute gem. He is very patient, polite and extremely caring. He constantly checked our well being.
Our unsung hero- Padam and Birkha. their strength, dedication, and cheerful demeanor made the trek so much more enjoyable.
