Access Nepal Tour & Trekking

Two mates and i decided to take on the challenge to see Mount Everest via the EBC trail. We trawled through numerous trip advisor reviews and finally chose Access Nepal as they looked to have really good reviews.
A few hours after submitting an online query via the Access Nepal website, I was contacted by Ms. Sadhana Adhikari(Executive Travel Advisor). From that point onwards i felt reassured that we had taken the right option as Sadhana was extremely helpful and efficient in providing answers to all questions that I had for her. We decide to book a 12 day trek from Oct 1 to Oct 12 which included all accommodation and meals. The trip itinerary was very well organized and Sadhana stepped us through it in detail to ensure we were all across it.
Our guide Dipender and Porters (Hari and Jivan) were awesome. They ensured that at every step during the hike we were catered and cared for. After the evening meals we had fresh fruit and Dipender ensured that we were happy and content. His advice and care was outstanding. He is very knowledgeable of the EBC Trail area and was updating us on names and facts of the beautiful mountains as we trekked through. Meals and accommodation that were included in the package were of high standard.
One of my mates succumbed to altitude sickness two days before reaching EBC. Dipender and Sadhana were on top of it all and made all arrangements for evacuation within a few hours. At no point did we feel worried or concerned as we were kept informed of all arrangements. For my mate and I that remained , Dipender monitored us daily to ensure that we made it to EBC without any further issues. His care for us was outstanding.
Sadhana , Dipender , Hari and Jivan provided outstanding service and their help and care made our EBC trek experience all the more fantastic.
I have no hesitation recommending the Access Nepal company to anyone planning to take the EBC trek. We will be sure to use them in the future for further visits to beautiful Nepal and the magical Himalayan landscape.

One of the best things I’ve ever done (Three Passes Trek)

I just felt like going on an adventure and randomly chose this company. I was a little nervous to trek in the Himalayas by myself, but just went for it, and I’m so glad I did.

Sadhana, the main point person for Access Nepal, has a good command of English and responded promptly to all of my questions. I felt at ease from start to finish about the whole process of arriving in Nepal, going on the actual trek, and then getting on my international flight to go back home.

My guide for the trek, Giri, was fantastic. He was kind, knowledgeable, spoke English, and was patient and also incredibly strong, as was our porter. The Nepali people really impressed me with their fortitude, integrity, resilience, and overall positivity. I came away with a lot of lessons from this trip that I will value forever. One thing that really impressed me was how quickly and how much I felt that I could trust Giri with my well-being. He took great pride in and thus put considerable effort into his job.

I’m so glad I went on this trip, and for the record I am a female in my 20s and did this alone. Safe (in terms of people) and amazing! The Three Passes trek is quite challenging though, and I would recommend the Everest Base Camp trek as an alternative for those who want to still see highlights of the Himalayas but have an easier time.

Overall an amazing experience. Communication was excellent from day 1. Sadhana responded to every query promptly.
Our tour guide Dipendra was fantastic. He was super helpful, knowledgeable and a fun guy to be around. Loved the fact that we were a small group of 4 and had the opportunity to spend more time with our porters and guide in comparison to bigger expeditions of 20 plus people.
Totally recommend the company and would definitely book another trip with them.

Annapurna Circuit 2017

My younger brother and I recently completed the Annapurna circuit with Access Nepal and had an incredible time! Our guide, Kumar, was extremely helpful and accommodating the entire time. And we were in constant awe of the strength of our porter, Giri. We stayed in terrific accomodation, had great service, and enjoyed lovely company on quiet afternoons playing cards. Such a fantastic experience, made unforgettable by Access Nepal. We both highly recommend others trek through them! Thanks team! 👍🏼😊

Recently completed the EBC trek with Access Nepal and what an amazing trip. From the first communications in the planning stages with Sadhana to the farewell dinner I can say that the company was top notch and delivered on everything that was promised. On the trek I felt every comfortable being a solo female trekker with my guide Jivan and porter Deepak and another solo male trekker.
Thank you Jivan and Deepak for your knowledgeable, guidance, attentiveness and patience along the trek. If you are planning on trekking in Nepal have no worries Assess Nepal is a GREAT choice!

Wonderful experience

This is a delayed review as we went to Nepal in April/May. My husband and I did the Manaslu Circuit Trek as we wanted something a little more off the beaten path than Annapurna or Everest Base Camp. We were very happy with this decision…we seldom saw other trekkers and most nights there were maybe a dozen or less others at our hotels (it got busier as we climbed as there are less villages and hotel options). We also added on a trip to Chitwan after our trek (which was very enjoyable…but very hot and humid that time of year). The company was great. We were a bit nervous to book with a company out of Nepal only because we have control issues and it felt a little scary to give all this money to a company halfway around the world and not really know what we were getting into. However, we were well taken care of by Sadhana, the owner who manages the booking and all the details, as well as our guide, Hom, and porter, Giri (who was training to guide that trek). Hom and Giri made the trek extra special and they were enjoyable to be around. Overall, we felt confident with their knowledge and experience.
No matter what company you go with, it is important to remember that Nepal is a third world country and they are in the midst of and recovering from a number of issues. Things are not always going to go as planned. That being said, it was a very wonderful experience, the people are very friendly, especially on the trek, and the scenery is beautiful.
