Everest Base Camp Trek With DEVMAN TAMANG !!

Me and 2 other friends from Canada booked with Access Nepal 4 months ahead of our trip to Everest base camp on October 7, 2017. We had many questions about scheduling our incoming flights and what to bring for the trek, Sadhana helped us out and showed us everything we needed. Due to bad weather at Lukla our flight was cancelled, if we didn’t leave the next morning we would not have had time to complete our trek as we only had 3 weeks in Nepal. Our Greatly Gifted Guide Devman got us on one of the first helicopters to Lukla the very next morning. Everything on the trek after that went as planned thanks to Devman. We had a great trip up to the Everest base camp and the top of Kalapatthar making many friends and memories along the way. You pay for a good middle budget company, and you get the best guide that I have ever received for any tour. If you are planning on going anywhere in the Himalayas with Access Nepal I highly recommend that you ask for Devman to be your guide. He will show you the best places, experiences and people, everywhere you go and the best thing about him is that he will get you where you are going for the great views ahead of all the crowd, Every single time. He became a friend to me and my friends that I will be sure to connect with every time I go back to Nepal! To Sum this review up, I recommend Access Nepal for Himalayan trekking and I highly recommend Devman as your tour guide.

Simply had the best time doing the Everest Base camp Trek with Access Nepal. Sadhana was fantastic with all questions regarding trip arrangements. While in Kathmandu we added a day before and day after the trek in Kathmandu – Sadhana arranged this effortlessly. Her professional service and arranging was faultless. Made the trip so easy. Our guide Prakash was excellent with great knowledge of trek, region and I think his expertise in gauging the pace to walk at (especially up steep sections) helped our acclimatization. He always looked after us in the Tea houses and checked everything was fine.
To top it off we had excellent weather all along the trek.
Thank you Sadhana, Prakash and all the people at Access Nepal for a wonderful holiday/trek and great experience.

Annapurna Circuit 21 Days – Highly recommend Access!

I completed the 21 day Annapurna circuit trip in November with Access Nepal. I would highly recommend the circuit AND Access Nepal.

My guide for the trek was called Ram, and along with the Shiva, he made the trek very enjoyable. The first few days involve 3-4 hours of walking so people’s bodies get used to the trek. Ram knew old country paths through the villages so we were able to walk in the quiet and see the local people in their homes.

Teahouse accommodation was organised every night by Access and with the porters carrying our bags we were free to enjoy the scenery.

WHY Annapurna circuit 21 days
> great variety of scenery; lush countryside, barren landscape near the pass, desert scenery of upper Mustang
> Slow increase in altitude so low likelihood of altitude sickness
> interesting villages throughout

WHY Access Nepal
> Seamless organisation such as free airport pick up and vehicle transport to and from the trek
> No hidden costs
> Free supply of duffel jackets and sleeping bags (cuts down on luggage!)
> The guides; Ram was excellent, he knew the best routes from village to village, provided explanations of local sights, ensured you got adequate food every evening, highlighted anything of interest along the way. He explained each evening the plan for the following day so you were fully aware of the trekking plan.

Overall well worth the money!

Wow what a trip! From the start Access Nepal were extremely helpful in communicating with us about our upcoming trip. We arrived a day early and late at night to Kathmandu airport with an Access Nepal employee waiting for us to take us to our hotel.
Sub was our amazing guide, could not fault him at all, he looked after us 100%. Even the other trekkers were jealous of our guide and company! We felt safe and in good hands the whole 14 days. The tea houses Sub chose were also clean and comfortable with great food. The porters that came with us were also incredible. I would definitely recommend going through access nepal for your trek in nepal! Thankyou Access Nepal and Sub for a trip of a life time!

This is wonderful tour company who arranged my tour within a week with no hidden charges.They picked me up from airport. My guide Ganesh and porter Govinda were well learned about the trek and very friendly. Ganesh kept me well informed about daily plans and local culture. I was fortunate to have this team and was able to reach base camp and on same day to Kala Patthar for unforgatable sunset view of Everest with its golden top. They also arranged trip to Pashupathinath temple in Kathmandu. I will highly recommend this company.

Wonderful experience

This is a delayed review as we went to Nepal in April/May. My husband and I did the Manaslu Circuit Trek as we wanted something a little more off the beaten path than Annapurna or Everest Base Camp. We were very happy with this decision…we seldom saw other trekkers and most nights there were maybe a dozen or less others at our hotels (it got busier as we climbed as there are less villages and hotel options). We also added on a trip to Chitwan after our trek (which was very enjoyable…but very hot and humid that time of year). The company was great. We were a bit nervous to book with a company out of Nepal only because we have control issues and it felt a little scary to give all this money to a company halfway around the world and not really know what we were getting into. However, we were well taken care of by Sadhana, the owner who manages the booking and all the details, as well as our guide, Hom, and porter, Giri (who was training to guide that trek). Hom and Giri made the trek extra special and they were enjoyable to be around. Overall, we felt confident with their knowledge and experience.
No matter what company you go with, it is important to remember that Nepal is a third world country and they are in the midst of and recovering from a number of issues. Things are not always going to go as planned. That being said, it was a very wonderful experience, the people are very friendly, especially on the trek, and the scenery is beautiful.
