There are three points I want to address about my experience with Access Nepal: the company, the trek, and my porter/guide. All are truly outstanding and impressive in their own rights.

The company, specifically Sadhana, who was my contact, was wonderful. She was extremely responsive and helpful. I had never done anything like this and she was happy to answer all my questions and be available to do so. I went over the New Year, which is low season, but she was able to organize a trip for me with short notice. For that, I am extremely grateful but would recommend to anyone they plan ahead with more notice, especially if it is high season.

I went on the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Every day, I was greeted with awe-inspiring views and yet, every day seemed to get better than the last. I had read this was one of the most beautiful treks and I had the right amount of time for the trip, so I chose it. I am so grateful that I did. I would not want to post a picture because it is hard to prepared for and nothing can do justice the view and experience when you finally reach the base camp.

Finally, my guide and porter, Iswor and Bishnu, respectively. Since I booked late, I had a single pax supplement. It cost more and out of gratitude, I tipped more as such, and it was worth every bit and much more. Here, I must admit, my words fall short. I very rarely write reviews. Were it not for them, I can almost certainly say I would not be writing this. The company was great value and responsive and truth be told, above my expectations, but it is just a company. The views are memorable but these two made the experience memorable.

I look forward to a future trek with them and hope I can plan ahead of time to ensure I’m with Bishnu and Iswor.

Amazing experience. Book them now! You will not regret!

If you are looking for a trekking company to do Everest base camp trek – look no further. This company will take care of you from start to finish! We had subodh as our guide. And Netra as our porter. It was just my husband and I with these two. They were an amazing team! They made our experience so good I would consider this trip a huge success! Our guide had everything we needed from water purification tablets to all the knowledge you need to help altitude sickness. He also helped me consistently carry my day pack. 🥲 Help that I needed on the trek. He also helped find good tea houses the entire way. Anytime we had a request he worked really hard to make sure we can get what we asked for at the tea houses! From a shower, to an outlet, to having a room above the dining area (it makes the room warmer). Netra went above and beyond. And was not just a porter. He took photographs and videos of us while we went up kala pathar on horses. I now have this beautiful experience captured thanks to him. 🥲 I am not a fast hiker and these two were very very patient. We made it to Base camp December 1, 2022. It was an amazing experience! I could not have done it without Subodh and Netra! Thank you so much! Pratap from Access Nepal also helped us with information, prior and after the trek. He was available on WhatsApp – at all times for any questions. He was with us before the trek, and after. No regrets about booking Access Nepal for my Himalayan adventure. All of my questions prior to my trek were answered promptly by Pratap on the admin team and the importance of customer care was evident at every stage.
The welcome at Kathmandu airport was a reassuring sight and Access Nepal delivered every aspect of the itinery precisely as they had promised in terms of transport, accommodation and food. This made the trip stress free and well worth every cent.
Ganesh was an experienced guide who puts the customer first and always goes the extra mile to make the trip memorable and comfortable – thanks for getting my tea with milk perfect for my British tastes Ganesh. It kept me going on the tough sections when plain water just wasn’t enough.
I cannot recommend Access Nepal enough. They are a very well run organisation who deliver what they promise with a smile. My Everest Base Camp trek is already in the early stages of planning and I’m certain that Access Nepal will make that trek as memorable as this one was. Cheers!

This has been the most extra ordinary trekking experience for the entire team and specially for me. Access Nepal had planned and executed the entire trek with great precision and finesse

Sadhana, Executive Travel Advisor had planned the trek to the last level of detail. She did an exceptional job of evacuating one of our trekkers who had fallen sick and needed immediate evacuation

Jivan, our trek guide with his vast experience once again brought in huge knowledge of ground realities. He has excellent execution abilities and could ensure we had everything when we wanted and how we wanted. He was always there watching the entire trek roll out day after day He has abilities to communicate well with all ages and nationalities. Always smiling, someone you would want to interact anytime

Porters assigned to us were incredible in what they did. They always ensured we had the right support at all times. They would be ready each day when we wanted them to start and would deliver our loads before we reached. A cheerful lot, more as colleagues

Overall a great experience, thanks to the entire Access Nepal team that made it possible

THE MOST AMAZING TRIP EVER & THE BEST GUIDE SUBODHO TAMANG

We have just completed the 15 day trek from Lukla to Gokyo Lakes and then through to EBC. From the moment we landed in Kathmandu and were warmly greeted by our guide Subodho on arrival, to the welcome dinner, the seamless airport experience to Lukla (this can be a huge nightmare), the superb organisation at every tea house, to the motivation up every mountain, the expert knowledge of the Himalayas, Buddihsim and Nepali culture – Subodho was absolutely amazing!!! Having never done something like this before, he made me feel incredibly at ease, went out of his way to accommodate all our requests (we didn’t want to stay in one place for two nights and he quickly re-arranged all the tea houses). He had a constant supply of biscuits which always helped too! He knew exactly when to be present and when to leave us be, never making us feel awkward. We ended up spending most afternoons playing cards together! It was such a pleasure and honour to spend the 15 days with him and I couldn’t recommend him enough or the trek!

“Appreciate for Access Nepal Tour & Trekking”

I was appreciate the service given by Access Nepal Tour & Trekking, the accommodation was comfortable and clean. I really enjoy the delicious of welcome dinner with live Nepali cultural program and Farewell dinner at the finest restaurant in Thamel. Although our flight was delay one day for the last day because short of fuel in the country but the Access Nepal Tour & Trekking company willing arrange accommodation and one day tour sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley such as Kathamandu Durbar Spuare, Pashupatinatah Temple, Boudahanaatah Stupa and Swyambhunath Stupa for us. I also like to thank to the experienced guide (Mr. Kumar Adhikari) and porter (Mr. Bikash Dhakal & Mr. Holis), they are very helpful, kindly, patient and no temper at all. This is our most memorable experiences in my lifetime. I will visit Nepal again.
