Chet Bhatta is a highly experienced mountaineering and trekking consultant, an eco-tourism professional, and an environmentalist. His adventurous journey in the industry began in 1998 when his love for the mountains in his home district of Gorkha inspired him to take up an important role of a trekking guide. He has continually added to his knowledge and expertise, especially in the areas of trekking and mountaineering ever since, to assume more important responsibilities. He considers social responsibility and environmental considerations indispensable in the operation of all travel packages. With a sound academic background, command over the English language, and decades of experience, he is able to offer helpful consultations to international travelers. 

Driven by the philosophy, “Tourism for development to the Himalayas”, he has been combining his passion with his respect for the local communities to make contributions towards communal prosperity and development. He also endeavors with local government offices, NGOs and INGO’s to run humanitarian projects working for the enhancement of living standards and education of the local community such as: student exchange programs, coordination for volunteer teaching projects, local awareness programs, sanitation and health projects.
