Langtang Valley Trek Cost

The Langtang National Park is a very beautiful national park that has different variety of flora and fauna. To visit the National Park, you will need an Entry Permit, which will cost you around NPR 3500, which is $25.

The total average Langtang Valley Trek cost per day for room, breakfast, and dinner will be around $40 – $50, depending on the location and provided facilities. Our company provides you with a guide and a porter for the journey. If you need an extra local porter, it will cost you more and will not be included in the package. However, along the trails, if you need a break and stop at a teashop for food or drinks, it can cost you a few dollars more, affecting the Langtang valley trek.

Apart from the trails, Kathmandu will be the place where you will be staying overnight. While you stay in Kathmandu, you might need to spend more because the city provides you with more facilities than the teahouses of the trails.

The Langtang Valley Trek is an easy-to-moderate trek. In the first few days of our journey, there will be high and low roads, which can exhaust you. Drinking a lot of water and practicing the Climb high, sleep low rule while you hike can easily reduce tiredness.

Access Nepal provides 1 guide for 6 trekkers and 1 porter for 2 trekkers (all expenses covered). In case one needs to hire more local porters, you have to pay an extra fee, which will not be included in the package. When hiring a professional, English-speaking, experience trekking guide can cost you around $30 to $60 per day. However, tipping the guide and the porters are also not included in the package, which can affect the overall Langtang valley trek cost.

Travelling with Access Nepal, if you book a package with us, 10% of the package’s amount is compulsory to deposit for booking, and within 24 hours of your arrival in Kathmandu, the remaining amount has to be deposited in full.

It is not likely to use a credit card or have an ATM in the Langtang region due to the lack of potential resources, and its remote and mountainous nature. We highly recommend that you exchange the currency while you are in Kathmandu.

In this package of Langtang valley, we will provide you with all the meals, accommodation, private vehicle to some destination, one day Kathmandu sightseeing, a guide and a porter, pickup and drop services at the Tribhuwan International Airport. Besides these services, no other extra supplements or services are offered by the company. The additional money for a person’s expenses on other things depends on the their needs and requirements.
